He has to accept that. He deserves it, too.

I thought that was the story behind the whole Butler drama back in January though? Something about Simmons' camp leaking false info to help get him to LA?

Pay that man

That happens to be 7ft tall and the closest thing to Magic Johnson since Magic Johnson himself.

Yeah, I agree, pay the man.

We will have all our money wrapped up in big men. Tobi, Joel, Horford and Ben are all Bigs . Some of them can play other position and some of them can shoot. Ben can pass but to me hes still a Big

normally, i'd agree with you but ben is a special case, imo. i believe his right is his strong hand. whenever i've seen him launch full court baseball passes, it's been with his right arm. heck, the threw out the first pitch at a phils game & threw righty.

It's not going to take years to build up the strength - he's not five years old, he has the strength already. Have a look at this video, his right-handed free throws already look better than his left. It's only arrogance that is holding him back, and possibly costing Philly a championship.

lol i can catch with my off hand as well it doesnt mean anything is that really your evidence?

hes an NBA player i really hope he can shoot ft's with either hand man. regardless it takes years of practise to shoot with your off hand in game. Ive heard kobe spent years shooting with his left in the event he may need to shoot left handed.

So you don't believe that actual video of him shooting free-throws well with his right hand is good evidence??? Wow, hope you never try and defend yourself in court!

Kobe was right-handed, so the comparison makes no sense. Ben is right handed and shooting with his incorrect hand, so the transition will take much less time than it would for someone to learn to shoot with their wrong hand.

The 76ers better hope he accepts the deal. With Klay and Oladipo hurt, and Kemba switching teams, Simmons could fall into All-NBA 3rd team and command 220 next year.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Why wouldn't he accept the deal? I don't get it.

Is this true or are you mocking that narrative?

Stephen A said he was told by Rich Paul that Ben is working "very very hard, which was not the case last year." I normally don't give SAS much credibility but this jives too much with what we heard last year and what we saw last year.

Hope Ben's finally realized he can't coast anymore on just his physical gifts. Maybe Brown abandoning him for Jimmy in the playoffs was the kick in the a** he needed.

SAS said he didn’t work much last year, not because he’s not a hard worker, but because he’s so embarrassed about his jump shot he didn’t want anyone watching how much he struggles with it. Not even sure what to say about that, it’s so bizarre - but at least he has gotten past it at the moment.

That's not what he said. He added that the reason Simmons rejected help/coaching is bc he didnt want anyone to see how bad his shot was.

We all know he spent last summer cavorting with Jenner.

Maybe he just can’t shoot. We all seen his mechanics. This is not something that can be fixed. It’s like a shaq or Dwight Howard more than 15 foot jump shot coming into the nba. They never figured it out. And neither will Simmons. I’m just hoping he can develop something within 15 feet mid range. At least that can help with spacing. Even if he shoots 35% from 15-20 feet range as long as he’s comfortable. Cause that opens up the inside for embiid and Horford to do more damage.

Agreed. If he cant shot he can't play point guard. If he refuses to move from point guard then we have to face the tough decision of trading him while teams still believe he could develop a shot ala MCW. I really hope to avoid that future, but we can't ignore that possibility.

Right now Ben, Tatum, Embiid and Zion are plotting how they can get to LA in a few years
