At the price of living with Roco’s shooting? Pass

Korkmaz/2023 CHA SRP/2027 PHI SRP for Jalen McDaniels/Richards

Harden/Milton/Springer
Melton/Maxey/Thybulle
Tucker/McDaniels/House
Harris/Niang/Reed
Embiid/Harrell/Richards

Gets us under the tax while acquiring another solid forward in the process.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

I honestly don't see us trading Thybulle at this point. He's become a big part of the rotation. Doc has him out there at the end of games for defense. That says a lot about this organization feels about him. I don't think he's going anywhere right now. If we make a deadline deal, it's going to be a small one. Right now we need a hybrid 4/5 that can guard positions 3 through 5. Someone athletic that can run the floor, block shots, and hit an open three. I know that's asking a lot, but that's what we need in my opinion.

I agree. More or less someone who can fit if/when we go to PJ at the 5 in the playoffs

Why? You make it sound like the Sixers actually know what to do with those picks when they select.

Why not get two players who can actually help?

I also wouldn't trade Thybulle now. He'll be very high variance but if there are enough games where he hits 2 threes like yesterday he might not sink the team on offense 4 times in 7 games in the second round on.

His deflections and STOCKs help makeup for the possession deficit our garbage rebounding as a team that isn't going to be fixed this year.

We just need to play him the rest of the regular season and tell him he has to take every open 3 and live with the result.

I’d trade Matisse if we can do something like Furk/Matisse for Mo Bamba. Bamba’s rim protection is more valuable on D and we get addition by subtraction because Trez doesn’t have to play.

Tisse gets to go to Florida and the Markelle Fultz Career Rehab Center.

I’d trade Matisse if there’s any inkling it’s gonna cost more than the MLE to re-sign him. Preferably he needs to take the contract Nassir Little got from Portland, but I imagine his agent pushes the pair of All-Defense selections.

Richaun Holmes, Isiah Stewart, Bruno Fernando. A few more names to keep an eye on moving towards the deadline.

If a trade happens, it’s likely to be for a ~10M player because Tisse + Furk is the best we’re likely to offer.

The available/desirable players in that salary range are:
Mo Bamba
Jae Crowder
Alex Caruso
Thad Young
Chris Boucher
Josh Richardson

Who would be your top pick from that list?

Caruso would be cool if he could guard Tatum or Brown

That's why Kyle Anderson is our missing piece. He can help the rebounding, help the playmaking, and he's a big-bodied defender that can wreak havok on those two defensively.

How much would Bol Bol cost? It seems like the Magic want to trade guys to open up more playing time for him, but he's the guy I want from that fire sale.

Get a wing to defend Tatum. Then on game time, Tatum hunts Harden on defense by our switch defense.

If Nets can switch. And run a zone once a mismatch is created by us. Why can’t we do it against Tatum. There are even times when we had Seth Curry assigned to Embiid on switches.

If we can’t take advantage of mismatches on offense, then there’s no use even if you had a Scottie Pippen on Tatum because you can’t win the points per possession battle.
