Huge fan of Kevin Love guarding 4s and Tobias Harris guarding wings. Huge fan of that. Huge.

  I’ll bet that Vinsanity has a RealGM acct and knows this board hates that idea.

As to the idea of Love for Horford... that’s pretty much the ultimate shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic type move.

yeah this swap is horrible and has been beaten to death on here. If this is being considered the bones I need to take it to the next level and get Colin Sexton involved somehow. I'll add 21 and a couple 2nds if I have to. But this idea of Love for Horford being a fair swap is wrong, if CLE wants that I need more.

That rumor is not flying for me.

It’s just a slight bump for us then it doesn’t make sense at all for the Cavs.

They have drummond and tristan. Why would they want Al?

Maybe I’d believe it more if it’s Tobias for Love then Al for Hield. Tobi is a better fit for the Cavs.

Then we can have..

Milton
Hield
Ben
Love
Biid

Maybe cleveland is doing the center version of what NY did with their PFs.

Kardashian gone as FA. Drummond will be traded shortly. They desperately need Al’s veteranosity.

Ahh.. if we’re just going to do small deals then it’s gonna be depressing. Like a slow death until some elite team in the east ends up with Harden then we’d be here talking about how to make Ben and Biid work again.

There is a path to reloading the coffers. Josh can net a future first, you can swap Love for Horford and get picks due to the delta in contract quality, you can move Thybulle or Milton or both for picks, and position yourself to strike next year.

I could see us try to make a Wiggins trade happen. Al Horford, JRich, Shake, 21st pick, 2021 first rounder for Wiggins and Looney.

I'm against doing that, but it makes sense for both teams if you like Wiggins: Horford and JRich round out the starting five while giving them cheap talent for the bench in Shake and the 21st pick. We get a third "star" in a similar age range as Embiid and Simmons.

I think Morey has more sense than to do that, but I'm also having a hard time believing we're just going to run back the same team.

I'm trying to get this to 100 pages before the draft. I'm giving self-immolating takes now.

I'm down with the concept, but absolutely not all this for Wiggins. If this is the best deal we can get we have no reason to not just run it back.
