No, it's delusional to think that the Sixers are a backup C away from being better then Boston or Milwaukee.

Sounds like despair

So if all that’s true, did you hope to not do anything today and just chalk this year up as another wasted year?

Call me crazy but I’m tired of not getting to ECF

No, I just had enough common sense to understand that when your best assets are Matisse Thybulle and Charlotte's 2nd round pick, expecting a major splash was idiocy.

My dislike for Morey aside I actually don't think the Sixers chances are zero. If Embiid stays healthy, which is a big if, they always have a chance.

And frankly, if people think this is a wasted season, why would anyone even watch the games? Seems like a big waste of time to me.

Underwhelming.

Realistically, we don’t have any assets to make a good trade anyways.

Get a C off the buyout market and call it a day.

Like I said, Tobi is our ceiling. The moment we get rid of him for a better player on a cheaper contract is the moment we can actually contend.

I’d be surprised if we get past sec round this year barring some miracles.

Looking forward to next season when Tobi and Doc get offloaded. Then we can talk about contending.

We'll probably sign Nerlens assuming he gets bought out.

Ben Simmons scored ten straight points on Harrell in the last game against the Nets, if they don’t plug that leak in the buyout market our bench units will have to go with Tucker or McDaniels at center or pray Reed can handle the minutes without committing a ton of fouls.

Next season you’ll get more value as Harris has one year left to pair with Maxey.

But what is the market OG? Ingram maybe? Ingram would be awesome.

McDaniels is fine. I can see him falling out the rotation so who gives a ****

We will probably sign Noel, or some other tall dude to say we did something...but they won't be playable in the playoffs anyway.

We lacked assets to do anything of value so there is that too.

but....and this is totally effected by yet another loss to those damn celtics lol....but the writing has been the walls for a while now. That Hawks series was probably the death knell. The looming Ben trade was the remaining bit of hope but then he threw water on it by not playing and hurting his dwindling value even more....and then we traded him for another guy who has specific needs but also an aging one...and the other issues became harder to fix..and now we have nothing left to trade really.

and that kinda drains any excitement for me lol.

Like I said early in the year...I feel like **** complaining since for the first time in a while....I virtually called this lol. I hated this offseason and thought that we **** up with the Tucker signing, the House signing, the Trez signing...and basically fixing NOTHING from last year and yet again hoped Joel would just be enough to make up for any flaws....and I love the guy but he can't....Prime Bron probably couldn't lol. This team is slow, small, unathletic and their best option on offense is a guy who relies on long twos and fouls...something that is hard to rely on consistantly. The fact that we are still complaining about the fact that the team tanks when Biid sits is sad....and yet here we are.

I **** hate it here man lol.

Everybody knew going in to this deadline the sixers hands were pretty much tied because of poor choices but still angry they didn’t make a big move. It’s comical

This team is no fun TBH, I'm only watching to follow Embiid in his MVP quest.

Say what you want but the first two years was fun as heck. Frustrating? Absolutely but when they were on they were on and it was entertaining to watch.

Now it’s just underwhelming.
