PER up to 14.3. Beginning of January it was down near 11.

And is it me or are his hands improved 100% since Nov/Dec. It's weird. He catches just about everything now.

And he seems more durable than I ever imagined. I know it less than a season, but he's not missing games with nagging injuries and I'm not as worried about him when he goes to the floor. Which is a lot less now than early in the season. He's going to play close to 80 games this year, high 70's. I just assumed he'd miss a week here and two weeks there another week here believing he was made of glass. He's not. That's huge.

Last thing. Ish has been huge for Nerlens the last few weeks. Gets him the ball for easy looks and/or on the break. Things that MCW and Wroten didn't do as effectively. Granted Noel is improving (and actually catching the ball consistently), but they still didn't get him the ball as much as they could. Ish is a nice find.

I like the fact that he's not just working on his jump shot . He's working on all facets of his offensive game. He looking to be a great player and dominate in his own right not just to pair and up and be embiids (who I'm sure he knows bigger & better talent) side kick. I think that mindset bodes well for his devolopment

Among many things, his offensive rebounding has greatly improved.

I told y'all not to worry about Noel in the beginning of the season. Dude's just missed over a year of basketball, it takes a while to get your rhythm and feel for the game back. Let's not forget he was the consensus number 1 recruit coming out of high school and consensus number 1 pick before he got hurt. We got ourselves a stud and now that he's got his feet under him, he's destroying fools left and right.

Let's just say that I was surprised when BB said Noel was looking model his offense with the likes of Amare and KG. Now, I understand. Honestly, I can't recall a rookie having this much of an improvement in the middle of the season.

The really scarey thing about Noel is...I remember a Interview earlier this year with Noel and Bob Cooney, and Nerlens said that in his family, his dad, and Grandfather, ect..that all of them grew further after their 21st Birthday or around there. Noel's Dad is like 6ft, 9, but at 21 he said he was only 6ft, 6. Same to for his Grandfather who was also very tall. Noel said he grew a couple of inches after his 21st Birthday. Noel, who measured at 6ft, 10 when he was 19 without shoes could very well grow to be a legit 7ft, 1 without shoes in a year or so.

its reasonable to say nerlens has another good game vs the weak defensive bigs of LA, unless Davis gets put on him- which would make for an interesting match up.

You don't grow Muscles...you build them. And depending on certain peoples Body types, that can take some time. But Noel, through hard work in two years can easily be 30lbs heavier, but even more athletic and quicker then he is right now. And that IS a scarey thought.

He already looks much stronger than he was at Kentucky. I think we will continue to see a great transformation this offseason.

I'm OK with him putting on 15 pounds of muscle instead of 30. He's 220 so 235 is not bad especially if we want him to retain that top notch quickness. He's going to be out on the peremiter more one ce Embiid starts playing..

Personally, I want him to maintain his quickness. Getting a lot of muscle is not an issue since he's going to play with EmGOAT.

Noel's PER is up to 14.31, last night's game boosted it by more than half a point...
