Shooting is very I,portent but people need to stop bringing up Curry. No one has ever shot like him in the entire history of the NBA. We probably won't ever see a shooter like him ever again.

I agree, buttttttttttttt to have a bunch on players on the court who cant even be a pick and pop threat is laughable. Our team has no outside game outside of dribble handoffs

Even now, I haven't seen a Ben Simmons jumpshot once this season, to act like its NBD is foolish in my opinion

He's taken two 3's this season. Here's one of them

If we miss out on Dunn/Murray, I pray we can find a way to grab Wade Baldwin from Vandy. Let him keep flying under the radar, he's a player and Hinkie would love the 6-10 wingspan on a 6-2 guard.

Baldwin is awesome. I think the coach yelling thing made people take notice of him and he's balled out of his mind. I don't know how under the radar he is. I don't count terrible mock draft sites. Since they're late to the party with everything. People that watch college ball know Baldwin is a hell of a player.

He's also a 50% 3PT shooter. Would love to get him with one of the OKC/MIA pick

Edit: LMAO, just read his profile on draftexpress and he has the exact same birthday as me, 3/29/96. My new favorite player, hope we get him

I hope we can land Denzel Valentine with one of our later picks (OKC/MIA)

He may lack the flash and huge upside people look for, but he just seems like one of those guys you can insert in your lineup and he will make plays. He's very well coached, has a motor, IQ and has a lot of intangibles...ill take a guy like that in the mid-late 1st any day.

Hell likely fall to the Spurs tho and they will make him into a hell of a role player.

Ok so lets talk worser case scenarios.

We lose the lottery to the Lakers, who obviously take Simmons, and Denver jumps to 3rd (happened on Tankathon.com Sim)
We pick 3rd again. Who are you taking/looking at and why??? (Please no fantasy trades where we flip guys for 4 top 10 picks)

Does someone like Jaylen Brown, Jamal Murray , Kris Dunn leap over the consensus picks of say Skal or Bender???

I would consider both Valentine and Dunn with a top 5 pick. Even though it's super taboo to consider upperclassman with a high pick like that in today's NBA.

If they sustain their current level of play, either would be bigtime additions to our roster.

1. Lakers - Simmons
2. Celtics - Skal
3. Nuggets - Dragan
4. Sixers - Ingram

Wouldn't be upset with that

Why are we still bullish on Brandon Ingram? I think he's a huge stay in school candidate. I would pass on him for sure with a top 5 pick unless he closes out the season in dramatic fashion.

Im not sold on him....People say he has KD like upside, but I've yet to see it.

Ive only watched 3-4 games of his this year, but in my eyes he's much more Tayshaun Prince/Otto Porter than he is KD.

I feel like I liked Kris Dunn before it was cool.
Too bad hes too old now (trololololol).

But no, hes the only guy who wowed me so far from the little college games I've watched. I'd take him in the top 5 easy. Murray, I like too , his % aren;t great and he might be more of a 2 (where he loses the height advantage).

I try to act like Simmons doesn;t exist to prevent the letdown.

Other than that...meeeeh. Ingram looked good in the one game I saw (Indiana) but when our resident Duke fan **** on you...then yeesh. Its liek Negrodamus hating on the Harrison Twins before I watched them...and then realizing true despair.

I wouldn't say realistically that he has KD upside, but he is KD'ish, and I think that he could be a star some day.

I still like him second, but it is early.

I haven't see Brown or Bender play yet but, I would take Dunn all day.

Murray is nice but his height, and athleticism worries me at the 2, and I don't think he has the natural feel to be a full-time point.

Skal hasn't shown me anything yet, although it is still early

Ingram has played better the last 2 or 3 games but, I do agree with you. At this time he should stay another year.

The problem is, this years draft is weak and he'd probably go top 7(?) right now. Next year is stacked (supposedly) so he could get pushed closer to the end of the lottery or even out of it.

Former Drexel standout Damion Lee is killing it for Louisville this year. 6'6" scoring guard that can shoot. Already 23 years old so he'll probably fall to the bottom third of the first round.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
