Always been this way, doesn't seem like this year is an anomaly in any way in terms of tanking teams or race for the bottom stuff. (Even compared to last year, there are already more teams who have won 22 games than there were all of last year, and each team has like 10 games left.) AS game has been floundering for many years now, too, and it fees like everyone thinks the in-season gimmick tournament is kinda fine, not exciting and the marketing is corny but it's not really doing any harm or ruining something that was great (RS games in Dec).

Maybe it's such crap year for us that it's hard to not pay attention to the dud parts of the season since we're stuck down there with them. I've barely been following anything about the good teams or big years guys are having this season.

Schedules mean very little at the end of the year. Many of those teams will and may be set for the postseason seeding and Brooklyn will be playing against G League talent.

So you never know. This team should've tanked after Joel broke his face and Jared tore his meniscus in the same game and by that time George had proven that he was a retired NBA playing podcaster.

I highly doubt the Nba is gonna let us get the first pic on the other hand - I can’t see them wanting Cooper Flagg in Utah. I mean, come on man.

It sets up pretty well for the Sixers if they play their cards right. Sixers play Heat the same night the Nets play the Wizards. And the Sixers play Toronto on a back to back so they have an excuse to rest key guys. Then after that all the easy games are out of the way til the Wizards game again. And Toronto has the Hornets this week, so they could get another win.

With Toronto winning tonight, I can't see us finishing worse than 6th. We ain't winning four more.

Our schedule is very similar to BKN's. But they're so bad we may not even be able to win another game without jumping them.

Would be great to see four wins from NO, but six of their final nine are against playoff teams.

Brooklyn's tank is no joke. But still holding out hope they fall ass backwards into a win.

If the 76ers end up with the 6th pick that will be great because no matter where Morey picks, if it's not Cooper ,then he will end up with the 2nd best player in the draft.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)

Wonder if we’ll have to Tonya Harding Maxey soon. Dude simply can’t come back if we’re gonna do this thing but his plausible injury recovery time is running out.

Someone please find an injury for the man.

The way Maxeys hand was theres a chance he will suck if he comes back, he was shooting badly in his last games. And i think he will probably plays holding back anyways, he knows the pick is important.

Nets doing their thing, benching totally healthy Claxton and D Lo.

But also still left with about as much legit NBA talent as the Wiz. Shooting 30% through 1 and game still tied.

EDIT: spoke too soon. Doesn't any Net want to be our new Muscala? Reese Beekman, Dariq Whitehead, have yourself a game and your name will ring out from Olney to Oregon Ave.

Worse part a top 5 pick, when I do tankathon We lose the pick or drop to 6 like 90 percent of the time. WE really just tanked a month too late. Need a top 4 to really have a chance. So even if we can outtank the Nets it might be for nothing.

Finishing with the 6th worst record would be more of a disaster. I did the SIM lottery and we dropped to 7th or worse 8 of my 10 attempts.
