Michael Rubin coming through with secret payments? It's about time we took advantage via underhanded tactics lol.

Iooks like it's run it back or Harden's fairwell party. I am leaning the former.
Yeah seems like it.

I just don’t think we have any shot to win, even if Harden comes back. On a one year deal, I’d take it though. Harden has been on a slow decline, so I’m pretty confident Lillard would be the better option the next two or three years, but to give up Maxey and have Lillard play with an even worse supporting cast than Harden had, would just continue to lead the team away from a title.

Good organizations develop players, draft well, coach to their advantage, and find undervalued free agents. Overpaying in trades and free agency isn’t sustainable, and that’s Morey’s bread-and-butter.

Trade for James Harden. Now we need a second star, so offer a max to Dwight. Didn’t work… trade for Chris Paul. Didn’t work… trade for Westbrook. Coming to Philly and inherit Embiid. Now need a second star, trade for Harden. Didn’t work… now trade for Lillard? Morey’s best trade, Harden the first time, was the one time he went for a player entering his prime.

Repeatedly taking big swings at older players will wear down an organization as you come up short anyway. Taking on bad monster contracts and sending out multiple first-round picks each time doesn’t allow you to build a good enough roster to win. It’s a good strategy to keep getting to the second round or conference finals.

The Sixers have no shot to win a championship. ZERO. The terrible decisions this organization has made over the last 5 years is mind boggling. Trading for Harden and giving up future picks was the final nail in the coffin. I have zero faith in Morey. Zero faith in ownership. Rebuild will happen before an Eastern Conference Finals appearance. Anybody who thinks differently is delusional.

Bol Bol might suck. But he's also intriguing and has some upside, and would be interesting piece for Nurse to get his scheming little hands on.

It’s borderline malpractice we haven’t signed ONE free agent that’s worth a damn. Morey better know something we don’t or this is flat unacceptable.
always a jump shot away.

I'd guess if Maxey was on the table, he's the biggest blue chip prospect on the market for Dame and Cronin would take it

Right. But he's thankfully not on the table.

Secret Nurse strategy, with less than 10 guys on the team he can play his stars big minutes and no one will blame him since there is no bench.

If we get Bol Bol then the lack of FA signings will all be forgiven.

It's actually a farewell party for Tobias, I mean check out all the smiles. He's about to start his next chapter.

Bol would be a worthwhile one year signing.

Bol Bol does not suck. He was phased out in Orlando because of their depth in the front court. I'm calling it right now if Bol Bol ever gets an opportunity for consistent minutes, he will be a very valuable player for a team. He provides length and athleticism. He can cover and play three different positions on the floor. He's an upgrade of Jaden McDaniels. Of course we wont sign him, but he'll help out whoever he does end up with.

Bol sucked the few times we played the Magic. But dude counts as a body on this undermanned roster.

On a serious note Bol sucks. Would rather give King and Petrusev a shot. In fact I’d rather give them a shot than most of the washed vets still out there that people want.

At this point I’m filling our whole third string with long guys who can run fast, Springer, bolbol, brownIII, King, and one of the undrafted guards

The Woj update was interesting. He says there are “teams” interested in harden. Not team but teams .. notably the clippers amongst other suitors. I think once dame is traded we will see harden follow suit

I would definitely do that trade. Although I think Minnesotta would demand more for KAT. Also, Cov is almost done so you'd want Mann to start over him.
