It is going to be roughing the passer or pass interference. You don’t need very much to call either one. Receivers and CBs grapple all game long, and they can just call a small tug on a jersey which you can find from either team on every play of the game. It’s tough for the chiefs to lose a close game. If they fail on four downs, that PI call just gives them a reset.

Or Mahomes just runs and begins to slide once a player has committed to a tackle. Or fake out of bounds on a run, then step toward the sideline when a defender commits to a tackle. That is 15 yards and a first down. The roughing the passer call is a turbo booster to a game winning drive.
