IF TRUE, conversations with Ben can’t have gone well

Believe it when I see it

The team improved their reserve 4 and 5, with the reserve 5 a huge improvement when Joel doesn't play and Drummond can start and play starter's minutes, unlike Howard who could not, and have two young guys to fill the third 4/5 positions.

Last year's Sixers rookie crop was a very good one and they have a year more experience now.

Everyone else of consequence is back.

The only huge question mark is Simmons and who eventually replaces him. The team has not panicked and made an EB quick trigger move for peanuts. Simmons is reporting to camp and the teams that are delusional about how good they think they are will soon remember why they were looking to make a trade in the first place.

I guess one liner hot takes of we suck/they suck/Morey sucks/etc etc is much more fun for some folks in a Stephen A Smith kind of way. Have fun with that.

Simmons didn’t ghost anyone

Imagine being paid 30 million per year and the coach & GM can’t pick the phone up

It’s laughable

Little wonder those dipshits can’t secure a trade

They want Ben to play with Dame

If they ship Dame, it will be for a rebuilding package

CJ is the one on the block

Getting into a 9 team bid war with a mystery dark horse team while Ben is on his knees begging to play while we have a roster that can inflate Ben’s numbers shows how great Morey is.

He’s not perfect. But he’s perfect for the job as our GM at this stage of our program.

If they think CJ will net them a player who will make them a real contender, they are more delusional than the Sixers are with Ben.
If Dame wants out, he's out.
Rebuilding with a 25 year old (with a 4 year contract) All Star is a pretty good start.

Who can offer better (and is a contender) than Sixers?
Maybe Boston puts Jaylen Brown on the block, but are they a real contender with Lillard - Tatum - Horford?

Lillard wanting out is just a matter of time to me, and we would be stupid to ship Ben for some mediocre players until this season is past.

You & I could create a “bidding war” for Simmons

Morey should be judged on the results of the trade & not upon whether anyone is interested in Simmons

Btw, Doc still can’t confirm whether Simmons actually wants to play let alone begging for it

All we know is that he wants his money

As an Australian, I want to see Ben do well but time has come for him to move on because he’s hurting the Sixers and himself

Sad but reality

That’s not Syntax

So the three way Wolves/Blazers/Us deal might be still on :) :)

Blazers cmon start 0-5. Lillard and Embiid are blindingly loyal to their own detriment. It’s commendable but reality is reality.

Morey plays high level 4D chess. Don’t count out Harden/Ingram for some reason either. I mean our last GM’s would have bulked.

Anyway Wolves, Blazers, Us and the Pels all line up from contracts all the way down to individual agendas.

Klutch and Rich Paul GTFO!

Likely scenario incoming -
Ben feels the Sixers are not only not trying to trade him but plan to keep him in Philly as long as they can - because they know that's what Ben least want's. (Jilted Lover Syndrome)

Ben's options -

A) Suck it in and carry on as normal Sixers Ben.

B) Go home and collect his Cheques and forget about Basketball via a Back injury or the Team telling him to because they think he may be a Hinderance to the Team rather than an Asset.

C) Go full Aggressive Ben mode on the court and basically Dominate the play with no fears shown. (Say a Giannis aggression level -
Leben mode)
This also means Fast Fast and Faster style team play and he will probably totally Ghost Joel in the hope the Big Baby goes crying to
Morey to move him.

Option C is my personal fav - Pissed off Ben is like the opposite of Passive Ben - should also let the Sixers get a better return.

A laughingstock implies that you care about what the fans of other teams think. The reality is, who gives a **** what anyone thinks?

You're responding to a guy who followed me around all last season and replied  emojis to anything negative I said about the team.

He's not someone to take seriously.
