I know it's only Game 1 but the Heat are looking good in Boston thus far.

Spo brings out the best of his players. Those Heat role players can absolutely shoot. It's going to be a long series for the Celtics.

I really sucks that we are a braindead team because this Tatum we're seeing down the stretch is the same Tatum we saw most of the series. Everyone forgets because he put up 50 on us while we were on quaaludes in game 7.

Yup, coaching definitely matters. Whether a new coach will help the Sixers get over the hump remains to be seen but it definitely matters.

Can't tell you how badly I want Embiid to go to Miami and win with Butler. I'd go to the parade to celebrate it.

Biid would mess up that team. Their offence requires contant moving and cutting. Biid would not last 30 mins.

Bam is a better fit. But knowing Spo, he might come up with a way to incorporate Biid into their system. Guy can coach.

Whomever decided to choose Tobias over Jimmy needs to have their testicular organs removed in a public square

It was never Tobias over Jimmy. Why do people keep saying that? It was Ben over Jimmy. We could have signed both Jimmy and Tobias. Jimmy was shipped out because he was incompatible with Ben (both personality and on the court). It was a bad decision either way.

It was actually Ben and Brett over Jimmy. Tobias was just the side piece that we were stuck with after he left. But I feel ya.

Ben Simmons was a cancer that even today his disgusting behaviour has ruined the franchise. Joel and Jimmy was broken up because of his attitude

Maybe people keep saying it because Jimmy himself, very loudly and publicly said the Sixer chose Tobias over him.

It's gross. Not only did you have Embiid and Jimmy. You had Simmons at peak value and the most recent number 1 overall on the damn bench.

Whoever was in charge back then should be hung. Every step went wrong.

That he did. Wasn't right, though.

The thing I loved most about Butler (this might sound crazy) would be when he'd sit with Embiid during the post game press, the chemistry they had. He brought out the best in Jo, too bad this franchise never paid attention to little things like that.

I honestly can't see that, because Tobias (as much as I despise his contract) seems like a really nice guy who is willing to adjust his game (and has done so multiple times) for the good of the team. Ben, on the other hand, is the most selfish, soft and delusional professional athlete I've ever seen. In other words, he's the total antithesis of Jimmy Butler. Thus it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who Jimmy clashed with during his time here.

Just trash talk. Jimmy got the better of Tobias on the court, and he remembered how the Sixers passed on him. Even though the decision wasn't actually Tobias over Jimmy, it was Jimmy's way of trash talking the Sixers.

I was thinking this while he was going berserk in a blowout game and Breen and Jackson were anointing him as the next One. This is a guy who has come up small most of his career in big spots, and we saw the return of that guy last night. It's a bit different when you're up against a big game assassin like Butler.

Best coach in the league, and it isn't that close. The guy knows how to put players in the right spots, how to use timeouts, make in-game adjustments - all the things that the Rivers apologists seem to believe aren't a big deal.

Kerr is a great coach, but how has he done when he doesn't have his full array of weapons? Spo can compete at a high level with lesser talent like few coaches ever in this league.
