Two sources said the 76ers are worried about next summer's contract demands of Evan Turner—who's averaging a team-high 20.3 points per game—and they might want to find cheaper talent this season through a trade. Their target should be, according to one source, Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard Dion Waiters.

"They would trade Evan Turner for him in a heartbeat," the source said. "Philly is starting over. Waiters works because he's a second-year player on the rookie scale and under team control."

IMO opinion we already have a cheap, under team control payer in Wroten. Why would we want Waiters, especially with the supposed incident with TT and Irving?

We only have 3 games in the next 12 days including a whole week off, what's the deal with that?

Sixers have been frontrunners all year on the league in terms of games played. Much of the league is starting to catch up but for example the Sixers played their 25th game on Saturday night, while the Pelicans and Kings just played their 22nd game last night.

It'll be a nice break for the young team to rejuvenate a little bit, MCW to get healthy, and the team get their minds right again after this 6 game losing streak. And its right during the holidays too.

And after that week off they play 7 games in 11 days in 7 different cities with a 5 game west coast road trip and only 1 home game in that stretch. So what the schedule giveth the schedule taketh away.

That's pretty interesting. I think it just depends on the draft and further moves we make. I think he could probably play both.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist might be made available according to WT. I would definitely look into that if I were Hinkie. Great kid, great motor, who needs to work on his offensive game. Obviously we have the best environment for that.

They're looking to make the playoffs, so we obviously have our trio which could immediately contribute.

Very interesting, do you (or anyone) know if his shot is broken or just needs to be tweaked?? Either way I would at least inquire to see what the Bobcats were looking for

Y! Sources: As Houston moves to cusp of an Omer Asik trade, four teams emerge as most serious suitors. http://yhoo.it/18Q9T5E

Seems like there are 4 teams in the mix for Asik + a "dark horse"

Knicks at Mil
Utah at Orl
Sac at Atl

Also, Ind at Mia on ESPN

We're looking good for worst record in the league, guaranteeing a top 4 pick. Our net point differential per game is -9.6, worst in the NBA. Yes, even worse than Utah or Milwaukee, both of which are rapidly catching up to us.

I'm gonna be at the game in Milwaukee this Saturday. Battle of the tank, but I think Philly has this one (loss) in the bag. :)

I would really like this. MCW-MKG-Noel, if nothing else, are good character guys. Hard workers, not divas.

Never understood why he was taken so high. He is a great athlete but had no offensive skill set. Reminded me of an Iggy when he was first drafted.

Awesome news! Per wiretap, MCW is highest among NBA rookies in jersey sales and 15th overall.

Larry Sanders will be back soon. He isn't a star but maybe he will help the Bucks win a few more games.

Is it just me, or does it seem like this week off for the Sixers is taking an eternity?

Not yet, Utah has 3 games on us in the loss column, the have a .005 percentage lead on us, and they're playing tonight at the Clips. So that will probably be a loss
