Two, it's pretty widely agreed that this years draft class is lacking in both depth and star power. The only other recent draft class that people I trust have been this down on was the 2013 draft.

For as long as I've been posting on RealGM, I've read statements during the summer proclaiming that the upcoming draft was going to be weaker than the one that just passed. It's becoming an annual cliche, at this point.

I'm a college basketball guy so I'm calling bulls*** on that statement. There are some legit returning players and an amazing freshman class coming in (particularly along the wings).

Do you honestly believe a group of Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown, Brandon Ingram and Skal Labissiere lacks for star power?

If you had your choice right now for the PG of the Sixers who would you choose among
Kris Dunn
Demetrius Jackson
Malik Newman
Jamal Murray

Isaiah Briscoe

The two in bold aren't really PGs.

Briscoe cause I think he has the most potential.

Can Briscoe shoot?

Mudiay is way better than Briscoe and I'm not even a Mudiay fan. Briscoe won't even be a 1 and done at UK.

That's not really going out on the limb. If Ingram has the right head on his shoulders (as opposed to a Perry Jones), he's the most ungardable offensive player to come out since Durant.

I'm not trying to go out of limb and that's why Ingram will go higher than Simmons. Elite scorer

He's an average shooter. He has very good handles and can get to the rim at ease. I think his ceiling is Kyrie with 34-35% 3PT shooting.

^ Yeah, im not down with the Briscoe hype. Too slow & underskilled for my liking.

I got him having the worst season of the PG trio at UK.

Murray looked pretty dynamic at the Hoops Summit game. The commentators sounded somewhat surprised though, so maybe just had a really good game.

Same game, Simmons looked pretty advanced, especially his handle, driving and play making. It will be interesting to see how he develops the slashing part of his game, whether he can really use it to draw fouls or is it more just to set up team mates. He looks a jump shot away from being a superstar. Reminded me a bit of Saric, except with elite athleticism.

As other have said, Ingram is probably the one who will be the cold blooded scorer.

Of course they do,Duke is a national powerhouse basketball program.its what good schools recruit every year lol.

Every year you just have to look at Duke and UK's incoming class. Most likely the top 2 picks will be coming from that pool.

Easily Murray.
I think Ingram, who is one of youngest players in this generation, still 17, could end up as the 1st overall pick a Murray+Ingram pack will be awesome for Philly, ad a SG with one of the other 1st rounders and you are set.

I have a feeling Briscoe will end up like the Harrison twins: go in with a lot of hype, but under-perform and end up going maybe early/mid 2nd round in the draft after soph/junior year at UK. He's just not as good as advertised and won't be able to bully other PGs in college like he did in high school, but he'll still get drafted simply because he's from UK.

Also, Briscoe doesn't strike me as the type of guy who will really focus on improving his game and will get caught up with being a UK bball player celeb and spend most of his time partying and messing with chicks.

Damn, Philly's own Bo Ryen will retire from Wisconsin's head coaching position after this upcoming season.

Jackson, Giles, and Tatum are tearing up the U-19 Champships for the USA. It's disguting how strong the 2017 draft could be.

I honestly think Ben Simmons is going to be one of those "can't-miss" lock #1 picks. 6'10", handles like a PG......he's got superstar skills and he's 18. Idk why he isn't consensus #1, and if he ism't maybe next year's draft is deeper than we think.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
