Philly fans, where's my boy Holmes? It seemed he was getting into the rotation a couple of games ago :(

I think they r trying to get Landry's value up so they can trade him at the deadline and then we will see a lot of Holmes again.

Landry has actually played pretty well since coming back from his injury, but it will be quite the feat if they can get positive value for him at the deadline since his value was so far negative this past summer. This all assumes, of course, that Jerry okays a deal that removes a vet from the team.

I think they get a very future 2nd or and expiring.

If that's the case, I would bet Jerry tells Hinkie to just hang on to him until the summer. Unless it's part of a deal for some extra salary that gets them to the floor.

Didnt think of it like this, but I hope so or else its just dumb not to play Holmes.

It makes sense to trade Landry since he was supposed to be the vet, now I guess Brands the guy? lol

I think they could take back a guy like Lance or someone else would a bigger expiring deal.

Jerry while not wanting to move vets would go for it cause it would give him more room to recruit this summer.

This is absolutely ridiculous. If Holmes had ANY Giannis in his game he would be playing the 3 for the Sixers.

Holmes reminds me of being what we hoped Arnett Moultrie would be, a bouncy, athletic big man with some range on his shot. Nice to get that and more from a second round pick instead of sacrificing a future first for Moultrie's Twinkie addiction.

Good call.

Hinkie has drafted 3 NBA players in the second round since he got here. (McDaniels, Grant and Holmes)

That is excellent considering what a crap shoot the second round is. He also used a couple of them to get Ish back which is another great use of the second round.

Don't forget he used two more to acquire a first round pick and Nik Stauskas from the Kings.

Should be interesting if our starters plays better with Holmes.

Ben
Jj
Roco
Holmes
Biid

Saric and Tj gives you better playmaking for the shooters (TLC&Bay) off the bench.

Holmes would be smart to make it happen or else he’ll play behind Amir, who’s underratedly been playing well, this season as our third string C.

Listening to Bb, seems like he assumes the Holmes performance is more of an outlier, because of his energy rather than fit.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Richaun always looks better at the PF spot. He might not be as skilled as Saric, but he's always been a more impactful basketball player, IMO. Saric struggles to play above replacement level. Holmes has had high impact from Day 1. I think he should be the starter until a spacing issue arises.

Unless Saric misses the next game we probably won't see Holmes at the 4. Hopefully Brett gives it a try again but I wouldn't hold my breath.
