WTF does that even mean?
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Well that's odd. Could it be false?

Please?!?!?

Hinkie was the face of The Process. There was something romantic about tearing down a mediocre team, starting from scratch, and building up together with a young, innovative GM. We have been robbed of that regardless of who is hired. Hinkie never even got a chance to land the plane because of public perception. That is the sucky part. You can't get cold feet after you've made a commitment to sell fans a garbage product for the sake of future gain. I sat through 10 wins this year because I knew the future was bright.

I don't know that anymore. And it sucks.

i had a feeling this was always destined to happen. whether it was this summer or next summer.

Sam Hinkie was always destined to go down in history as the "shameful tanking" GM who never got to see the benefits of his work. in the end his moves may pay off ala Ed Wade but another GM will get the credit.
I think it's going to be many years before Hinkie gets another GM job, if he ever does.

and I say this as a Hinkie fan. but he just set himself to fail in a lot of ways. he created his own legacy.

Blame the media, and casual fans that know nothing about the game.

Hinkie was hand-picked by Joshua Harris to tank. It was Harris' plan, ran through Sam Hinkie. Now Harris has backed out of it.

Harris better have gotten the goddamn frozen envelope for this circus.

I figured Hinkie was gone, so even though it p****s me off, I'll get over it.

Speaking for myself, I will give them the draft and FA and see what they do. I highly doubt Bryan f*****g Colangelo will impress me.

Expecting to be a Hawks fan by next September.

I read somewhere that Will & Jada are now majority owners of the franchise. Can someone explain the level of authority that would give them to me? Could they influence decisions like this?

Everybody tweet Harris and O'neil to show them how big of a mistake it would be from the ACTUAL 76er fans vs the freaking national media to let him go.
