Pick swap is a wing and a prayer, Kings probably won't be any worse than about 8th this year--they're reasonably talented for a bad team and don't have incentive to take (at least not beneath the 10th spot). If the Sixers stay the course, they have a great chance of being bottom 3-4, pick swap is definitely not just as good as that.

You're right about Sergio, though. That's the type of trash tier defense we'd be getting each night. Penetration for days. Embiid would be pissed having to clean up after him, possession after possession. We don't need him.

Im with you on this kobble, cj can score but is literally like the jahlil okafor of guards. Zero defensive awareness and possibly care on that end. With that said Would trade jah for him tho.

im not joking and its not a shot at simmons. he has superstar-potential too, but with embiid on the same roster, he will never get the title most valueable player. simmons wont anchor an entire defense like embiid. he will never shoot that good like embiid.

I see where your coming from, just think you might be jumping the gun. Just to play devils advocate, if simmons puts up 20ppg in a season id be willing to bet he will win an mvp. The assists will be there and rebounds will too by default.

i dont think its out of the realm for him to average 15-20ppg, 6-8 reb, 8+ assists. Not to mention he makes highlight passes routinely which you know the sports center/youtube generations will love. Lets hope they both compliment eachother and both win mvps.

I can see an argument for getting Jrue now if the cost of acquisition isn't very high. Getting a chance to have team doctors get an extensive look at him and actually seeing if he's a fit before giving him a large offer in the summer would seem to have some value.

I actually think NO would be a great place for Okafor to end up. Anthony Davis is probably the best player to cover up his mess on defense while sacrificing little on offense. If it's for a pick, I image we're packaging these picks (and maybe Noel) for Paul George.

They don't really have a future with him, and we have Simmons and Embiid.

After thinking a bit more... i still do the asik deal to get their first this year. Only that tho. Give the ability to pick swap so it gives them interest and u have just narrowed down the field BIG TIME for a top pick.
