we really need to figure out how to have complete games and not always have to come back every game but the fact that we can is still worth something I guess as I didn't think we had the horses to do so...

still fraudulent so there

good win

Doc rushed to call a timeout during an Embiid iso at the top of the key so that he can struggle to get him an inbounds pass for a broken play Embiid iso at the top of the key...

Jo was spastic as hell on that iso tho... damn near lost the ball twice. I hate Glenn but that timeout was a must

Ok. We won the game. I’m happy. Still not a good shot by embiid. He can get a better shot off.

And the inbound play. I don’t know what doc is telling embiid to do. He’s in no man’s land. He’s not guarding the inbounder. He’s not guarding anyone. He needs to be right in front of the inbounder to cut off angles. That’s how the Tatum shot got off vs Boston.

We lucky Portland only has 1.1 seconds left. If they had 4 seconds. Lillard gets the ball and the clean shot off.

That shot was made possible by having 4 other guys on the floor that have to be guarded(unlike previous seasons with a non shooting PG) and he was able for the most part go one on one and get to his sweet spot the midrange with minimum dribbling and banging where the ball can be poked at in stripped.

Not the greatest shot but definitely not bad . So I'm wondering what would you suggest a better play and shot would be?

We’re really purposely setting things up most games to come down to the last minute so we can be in better shape to win the close ones in the playoffs. Doc just playing three dimensional chess, while the rest of us are playing Go Fish.

None, Embiid is fantastic with these turnarounds, it's really difficult to get easy shots in this situations, but this focus on efficiency just blinds people.
