They’re running it, but Embiid isn’t really doing anything on the “roll” part.

Biid doesnt have to roll. He just needs to get the ball at the elbow after the action. Where he’s defended by a smaller defender

He’s just having one of those games where he gets the ball at the elbow and the entire Nets team strips him constantly. He needs to wake up.

They're switching it, he isn't gonna be defended by a smaller defender

They just switch the pick and roll and they have a smaller defender on Joel a lot anyway so there’s almost no point. He just gets doubled on the catch. It would be almost better to try and isolate a weaker defender on Maxey by having him initiate the pick and roll and then have Maxey go off the dribble.

I will say it again, Harden celebrated too early, he is a step slow and a dollar short.

He's better when he's not hungover. I worked in a club for a decade, he looks hungover

At the end of day if a team is doubling your star player every possession no matter where he is, other guys will have to hit threes. If we can’t make enough here, we aren’t going to do it against Boston, Milwaukee, whoever in the west.

He’s catching it at the baseline or at the paint, where he’s looking to take it inside. Which probably because he wants to take advantage of his size, but the refs are allowing the Nets to swarm and play physical with him

I'd get discouraged too if others are allowed to get physical with you and you get no calls, but on the other end you're calling touch fouls

They’re not better shooters than us. So they’ll face the same problem more than we do.
