Celtics weakness really is their front line. Horford is washed and Timelord has been diminished by injury. As long as we execute our offense & continually put pressure on their bigs, I think we’ll be fine.

My biggest concern is pure shooting variance. Celtics put up a lot of 3s and an above avg shooting night could be the deciding factor.

Joel Embiid will dominate the Celtics with the greatest playoff performance of his career tonight. It’ll be one of those “Joel Embiid destroys the Lakers” or “Joel Embiid scores 59 on the Utah Jazz” kind of games.

So I'm in Europe, which means game is 1:30am. I go to sleep around 11pm, wake up at 6:30am, don't pick up the phone, go straight to game replay with no spoilers and watch everything from beginning to end. Hopefully I write a post on how awesome we were and how we are in the ECFs around 9am. :)

I’m in Istanbul and game is 2.30 to me. I’m still undecided whether to wake up at 2.30 or download a torrent early morning:)

I'll be transiting Istanbul in August. Stay awake. Maybe bring us some luck.

I moved here with my wife and kid because of war.

We should absolutely have a drink if the Sixers win a title:)

I'm sure this has been brought up someplace but the fact is that if the 76ers go undefeated at home the rest of the playoffs, they will be NBA champions. Much easier written than done though. Get it done tonight.

Not an 82-game player, but a 16-game player. Worth every penny...

Celtics going to be aggressive. Gotta get them in foul trouble. I expect more driving to the rim since the jumpers haven't been falling as much as they would like this series. Lets get some offensive foul baiting happening today.

Apparently Celtics going back to last year's double-big lineup with Horford + Time Lord starting. I don't believe they've used this even one time this year. Sign of desperation? How do we counter?

Spam 3's to try and open up the paint like they do. Hit them early and Time Lord will be taking a seat.

We definitely have to hit 3's against their double-big lineup. They were at their best last year when Time Lord got to roam as a free safety cleaning up any rim attacks.

Need to P&R to death their bigs on the perimeter, far from the basket where they'll have trouble recovering.

Are we during they’re not just benching Horford? He’s been our biggest defensive target & can’t hit a shot.

They're gonna put Williams on PJ so he can help and punish us for playing Tucker.

That is gonna limit their offense even more tho.

Williams kills their spacing even more and his man defense has been as bad as Horford's, i think they're gonna go double big

I agree that one way or another they're going to sell out against everyone else and leave Tucker wide open. I think we'll need him to hit a few 3's today.

sixers4real wrote:I’d say this is the most important game for Sixers since I became a fan of Philly after 2001 NBA Finals.

The other ones:
- Game 7 of Sixers Raptors 2019. Heartbreaking loss, but beating Bucks and Durant’s GS was a tough task.
- Game 7 of Sixers Hawks 2021. To me, that team didn’t have “it” factor.

This team does. Let’s go Sixers!

I just didn't believe in the 2021 team enough to be anything but disgusted with that loss, and like you said, I don't think the 2019 team was winning a title, just too many moving parts. This is the biggest game in a really long time, probably back to game 7 of the 2001 ECF against the Bucks, and really game 1 against the Lakers in the Finals.
