Sixers have 2 options in my view and both involve tanking:

1. Sit both Joel and PG and focus on getting their bodies as right as can be.

2. Sit Joel entire season; but give PG a chance to come back in January for 17 games hope he plays well and you find a team wanting to pickup a vet for a playoff run. I still think GSW would move Wiggins and other salaries for PG if he played well enough. If Middleton can't bounce back the Bucks could do a Middleton.

Trying to salvage this season is a mistake.

Agreed. Take option 1, tank as hard as possible, come back next year with Jo and PG ready to go day one along with Maxey, McCain, and a high draft pick.

It really depends on Embiid's health and how far PG has fallen off. We'd be adding another high quality price via draft and some growth from McCain. I think if we can get a top 3 pick , we should have the pieces already in place to avoid a full rebuild.
