Why are we doing isos for PG against their best defender?

Love Kelly with stars next to him. He is a very good glue guy.

McCain should handle the ball more.

we won but I am still mad
just baffling rotation decisions
also went away from a quick strike offense for a more stagnant one down the stretch

Yeah, zero options of tanking.
Also, with our schedule we could easily go on to win the next 3 before the Cavs
Then we would probably lose the next 3, but who is counting lol

I think tanking was always out of the question when you have PG, Embiid, Maxey and a bunch of ring chasers on the same team. Add in the potential ROY and it's hard to imagine they'd suck long enough to pull that off.

Yeah i was never thinking they would do it.
I actually think the team is gonna be hovering around .500 by the deadline, which is fine in the east.
The issue is if the team can go over that, i just don't see it at this point.

tank talk for me was just a way to cope lol. I wanted them the tank but I knew it wouldn't be possible.

I don’t love how many zero pass possessions we end up having with Maxey at point guard. It’s going to be impossible for us to run an efficient offense if he doesn’t get back up to 40% from three.

btw
Seems like Nurse would rather go 0-82 before letting his boi ride the pine.

He had 14 assists though.

His constant rim pressure is super valuable & generates open shots. He’s also still moving the ball well when the defense is in rotation. I just worry that his turns as a PnR handler end in a shot too often but that could be in part to Nurse’s offensive scheme being poor.

You guys had/still have more faith than me that Joel wasn't a possibility to sit for 2 months or possibly have another cleanup.
Jake Fischer just said recently that without disclosing too much his "personal reasons"were legit.... Perhaps much of his absence was due to whatever those issues may be, and hopefully this issues are positively resolved.

I didn't watch yet, is the tank over?
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I definitely believe it. He seemed to be in a really negative headspace that was difficult to understand from the outside looking in.

More than that the east is just bad.
Banchero and Franz are out for a while, so the Magic is going to stink for one month, and their record is going to drop. Outside of the Knicks (barely), Cavs, and Celtics, all the other teams are barely good. The Heat, the Bucks, and the Hawks are .500 teams, too, and the Hawks will start to tank eventually.
The rest of the east is so bad we should have a .500 record even without Joel.

Jo with 32/10/4/2 in 33 mins? Maxey with his first triple-double with 25/11/14? And an easy road win???
We are sooooo back!

We are sooooo back!

I agree with that from here on, but they started like the first 16 games missing all 3 for stretches and didn't discover that Jared can play basketball until Maxey went down. If Joel was not returning it would have been malpractice to not tank. Set minutes restrictions on PG-13 who already won't okay b2b... With strategic rests for Maxey and Co.
