Ok what the heck is going on with Justin Edwards. He looked good at the last half of the season. Now It seems he has taken a big step backwards in the summer league and the pre-season. What is going on with him?

Just waiting for them to announce that Embiid won't be playing tomorrow.

Might as well start the season off correctly.

Prediction: Embiid goes 20ppg, 10rpg, 8apg, 4tov on the year. 60 games.

he's not good.

someone had to score at the end of last season.

He has to be a sniper to make it in the league..just being a mid streaky shooter won't cut it..

Yeah I'm not sold on Justin Edwards. He's only going to be a player in this league if he can hit from three. He can't create, he's got no mid or off the dribble game, can't get to the rim, can't draw fouls. His go to is gonna be open looks off double teams and playing solid defense. You hope he turns into a viable 3&D player, but those guys are rare and even more rare is finding one who didn’t even get drafted. That being said, with our injury history and guys constantly resting these days, he'll get a shot as a rotational player. Hopefully he makes the most of it.

Yeah you are right someone had to score last year. But for a while there he looked like he was getting the hang of being an NBA player. Then in the summer league, against guys trying to make teams and rookies, he was below average and in pre-season he was bad. Just seems to be taking steps backwards, even against guys that have not had a lot of professional experience.

Considering how much he and Maxey were working out together it seems that he did take a step back. Who knows? I never really judge any of this stuff until their actual season starts. Like I should be super excited for what we've seen from VJ, but... Preseason. Definitely looked good as 3 and D talent last season even before the floor fell
