Thad should be very good here, but I think Green will have a nice career as well. He's going to be a glue player out there, and should thrive. Let's see what the next piece is they add to the roster, and how that team shapes up. Ideally, I would think they'd love to have Rose, but no matter what are going to have a nice pick to gather in a big time prospect. Definitely need a PG, and also need a Center even though they've picked about 3 centers with high picks in the past 5 years or so.

The more I watch the development of this team, the more I have to think about what Mo has done in developing this team...and these young players.
Just like Charlie Manuel and Terry Francona, Mo will never be respected for his technical in-game coaching skills, but at some point you have to respect what this team (picked by some observers as possible the worst team in the East has accomplished) has developed into. Chicago had great young talent, and it looks like they are back to square one. Atlanta hasn't done jack with what they have, either.
The Sixers are a good team.
Not Spurs good. Not Utah good.
But...Toronto good? Denver good?
A team that - at least right now - is playing like they should be in the playoffs. Will they do anything? Probably not - but for Thad and Willie and Iggy and Sammy and Lou (none of whom are over the age of 26)...they are learning how to win - at least a year before I thought they could.
And with a decent amount of cap room, they are going to add a good player this summer (unless Eddie f*cks it up). Thad looks like he will be a star, and Iggy has really stepped up his game, as well.
I am happy with what I see...and where we are going.
Kool-Aid, anybody?
(somebody has to step up in TGP's absence)

Anybody see the Sammy interview in the locker room?
Was saying some stuff about being upset and confused about his roll. He also said somthing about not being able to get in the flow of the game when he's being pulled out all the time.
Come on Sam we are winning, lets not f-up the mojo. Have a sip of Kool-Aid and enjoy yourself.

Jesus. Sam ALWAYS complains about his role and his minutes. Every year. meanwhile he's started every game the last two years, he's playing 33 minutes per game this year. It's never enough. Maybe he should take some lessons from Thad.
BTW, speaking of roles, can we PLEASE stop this "starting thad half the time based on matchups" junk? Can we please have some consistency in the starting lineup. Give the kid the position and see what he does with it. He's earned it.

Im sorry but Thadeus is going to be a top 25 player OF ALL TIME, yeah i said it. I just see no limits in this kids game at all and i see no cieling for him at (based on the fact he works on his came a lot) he also is very smart on and off the court, im telling you guys this kid is something special ill tell you that. And why do you think everytime he comes in the game the team seems to play better, itys because of him, and not to mention everytime an offensive shot goes up he runs near the rim thats just great fundementals and im going to go out on the limb on this one and say, in four season Thad will put numbers like this up 23 10 4.

I don't have a problem right now alternating between Evans and Thad based on matchups. Seems to be working fine. We have a tough stretch of games after Milwaukee...and managing Thad's minutes and matchups doesn't seem like a bad idea. He seems to have made it through "the wall" pretty well, and there will be plenty of games in April (and even May) for Thad to continue to develop his game.
I like the fact that Mo is allowing his players' play to dictate their minutes....he seems like a "hunch" coach in that he will let guys get in a role and and play...some nights Willie gets a decent burn, and other nights Louis could play the whole 4th quarter and keep Willie on the bench. Eventually, the continued improvement of these players (and the addition of one or more good players to the rotation) may lead to more of a set rotation...but right now the key is that all of the young guys are getting good minutes and Mo is keeping these guys from having too many "Justice-on-Osi"-type moments out there.

i love that your really committing to the kool aid.
Yeah im a black man and you know we love Kool aid hahaha, no but seriously Thaddeus is a great conerstone to this franchise and to be honest with you he just brings winning, just like certain players do as soon as they get in the league like player such as Duncan, Nash, Billups ext. he just brings a winning attitude to a team.
