Murray/Maxey/Joe
Curry/Korkmaz/McDermott
Green/Thybulle/Vassell
Harris/Niang/Reed
Embiid/Drummond/Bassey

We don't really have the roster space for consolidation trades from other teams.

That’s probably the most realistic scenario. Lillard, Brown, Ingram what have you might not even be available in the end.

I’d rather move Harris ASAP though for whatever we can get lol.

Your guess is as good as mine the FO’s league wide would have way better inside track on this than us.

As prospects:
Maxey was a shotcreator with terrible defense, bad passing, and no jumpshot.
Murray was a shotcreator with good defense, subpar passing, and no jumpshot.

Murray improved his passing to lead G rate and developed his jumper enough to go from a non-shooter to a reluctant shooter.

Maxey can conceivably improve his passing and shooting to a similar degree, but it's an impossibility for him to ever become the defender that Murray is.

Lol.
What had Murray done since entering the league in 2016?
He’s putting 18.4 PPG on 16.8 shots with a .514 TS while his team is 7th worst in the NBA.

There is NO HURRY and Morey is playing this smart. Wait until a star wants out that Morey likes then make the deal that HELPS the 76ers. Who cares about anything else? Morey sure does not and it is obvious he has the backing of ownership.

when the only party that "wins" w/ a trade asap is...Ben.

Morey def flew too close to the sun during the draft. IMO that was the best time to get a deal.....but we also don't know what was truly on the table or not. However for the betterment of the team AT THIS VERY MOMENT just making a trade doesn't help them much. Ben isn't imploding the locker room as feared....and if all we can get back right now is more role players...then that's not worth it as our current role players are thriving. That could change in a month...or hell a week. But RIGHT NOW? There is no rush.

so the only person who is looking at this emotionally isn't most Sixers fans (yes there are some who wish to "punish" Ben but they don't speak for the logical side of things).

TlDR: There is no benefit for the team to trade Ben for scraps right now. Suck it.

Kindly point out where I have said that Sixers must trade Simmons now and for whatever is being offered

The logical time to trade him is somewhere between December 15 and the deadline unless something comes up beforehand

Hold on guys, I’m going to spend my Sunday evening sifting through 5 months worth of Tomjas posts to prove him wrong.

lol

Don’t waste your time

I have been very clear on the trades that interest me

Spurs package but only with unprotected ‘22 pick

Draymond plus their 2 lottery picks early on

Something with Raptors and Siakam involving a 3rd team

Something with Pacers and Sabonis involving a 3rd team

That’s pretty much it because very little else has been realistically available

Hard no to things like Wolves crap platter, CJ/Fox/LaVine straight up

Wasn't Kobble all about the Maxey love just a little while ago, or was that an alternate reality??

My dude is in constant motion and you just fell for the trap.

Be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. Tyrese Maxey MVP. Tyrese Maxey should play for the Shanghai Sharks.

I said from Day 1 that Maxey was an elite shotcreator that did nothing else. No passing, no shooting, and pathetic defense. Spot on. He's not going to be useful until he develops a jumper by year 3.

We all say things that are wrong in the end. The trick is to throw as much dung on the wall and eventually something sticks lol

Oh yeah and Mobley is the next SUPERSTAR!

Fox and Ingram were my top priorities for Ben Simmons. Age wise, fit wise, need wise.

Simmons, Fox and Ingram were rated about the same on top 100 by

Sports Illustrated
Ingram 33
Fox 32
Simmons 31

ESPN
Fox 34
Simmons 28
Ingram 26

Bleacher report
Fox 38
Ingram 31
Simmons 28

So, basically they are somewhere top 27-40 players in the NBA, and I think it’s fair.

Ingram was always higher on my wish list then Fox, due to my personal believe in Maxey, Milton and Curry as small guards for Philly.
But with Fox starting soooo badly, Ingram is my one and only top priority for Simmons.

Dejounte Murray team just lost to OKC 99-94, while Murray shot 5-19 from the field, 0-4 from three and did not get to the line once.

I’m quite sure that’s not the difference maker Morey was talking about.

I have a healthy distrust for players putting up good numbers on bad teams

The Kings have some talent but Fox doesn’t do much to make them better so I question how much of a difference he’d make here

Ingram at least has the excuse of being on a totally dysfunctional roster

Seeing the turns people do on opinions they had, like just last week, here is more funny and interesting than the Ben stuff in itself at this point. TBH

Murray only makes $15 million so more would be needed to match salaries

Spurs have some reasonable contracts and all their picks

In an ideal world, a 3rd team would be involved

Let’s say we did something like

Spurs get Simmons in return for Murray and stuff

Kings get stuff from Spurs

Sixers get Murray and Hield

That makes more sense to me than Fox straight up

I dont know why people say Ben-Fox trade makes sense..

Haliburton and Mitchell aren’t good fit for Ben.
Bagley and Ben are redundant.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.
