And that was coming off a stellar 4-13 performance.

This is the issue with giving the keys to your offense to a non-slasher. Tatum is a fantastic shooter and excellent mid-range pullup guy, but nobody fears him getting to the bucket from the perimeter off the dribble. So he'll see hard closeouts and have occasional ugly shooting nights like this.

Fox, Mitchell > Tatum

This is the best thing I've seen all day.

The way the Nets are destroying them, the Curse of Kyrie is even worse than the Curse of Papa Shango!!!

I hope he exorcised the ghost of Auerbach and they start to suck.

The story is not Celts struggling. The story is how Nets looks like a superteam.

After two preseason games, i’d put them in a class of their own.

Fox, Mitchell > Tatum

Fox had his own rough shooting game the other night, being defended by Stephy Curry no less.

Bad game from Fox. His first mistake was deciding to shoot 7 threes in that game.

In general, Fox exerts way more pressure on opposing defenses. Almost 60% of his attempts occur within 10 feet. Tatum is 6'9" 220+ and attempts just 35% of his attempts in that same range. Far less aggressive attacker. His handle isn't as crisp as the typical 20+ ppg guy. Tatum is living on his three point shot right now.

T.J. Leaf cut before his rookie contract was up.

Thoughts on the Nets? They look really good.

Right now, based on what I saw on our team, we’re just as good as the Pacers.

Our team was missing our best player who happens to play the same position as the Pacer that shredded us. We'll be fine
The nets look good. The question is can that team take the toll of a full season? Particularly Kyrie.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

They have probably the deepest roster in the league with the most talented duo.

Nets look good. I do seem them encountering major defensive issues as the season goes on, though. They may need a Miami-esque defense-saving trade at the deadline.

That team is skating on thin-ice intangibly and durability-wise.

Tatum has shown he can hit those shots, so what’s the problem? Fox slashes because he has to lol. He can’t shoot.

The Hornets are going to be a great league pass team.

Ball, Rozier, Graham, Riller.

They have straight bucket getters.

The Pelicans should definitely be a fun team to watch. They lost Holiday, but brought back Bledsoe in the swap. Bledsoe is fun. Also, Walker and Lewis off the bench should be exciting, if they find minutes for them.
