Would you give up 2 1st’s for Keldon Johnson? I feel like the Spurs wouldn’t be that enticed to trade him for 1 1st and we don’t have all that much else to offer in terms of real value. I don’t see Springer exciting anyone enough to add significant value in a trade at this point, and the Spurs already have more 2nd’s than they’ll ever know what to do with.

Complete side note- if I were Morey I would also attempt to get Sandro Mamukelashvili in a Spurs trade. Dude is super talented and has a unique skill set for his size. Pretty shocking to me the Spurs aren’t able to get him any mins with the state of their season and team

I don’t know if you can do more than a first since that would suggest he’s guaranteed starter value. Ideally he’s a starter that fits with Maxey, but he might just be an excellent second unit on-ball creator.

One of his underrated attributes is his effort on crashing the boards. I think Springer is the only one who works that hard at it, which is unfortunately a reason we dropp a few games every year.

I don’t think he’s a cure all move, but someone who is a low risk, high reward young Popovich player. Also took the reins in that system and became the alpha scorer despite being meh as a prospect.

I’d be more interested in this + other moves than dumping all our assets into someone like Siakam.

The Wizards are terrible.

What about bringing Landry Shamet home? We need Gs that can shoot and he's super reliable in that.

I like Siakam but Im not giving up something crazy like three first round picks for him. He is not that valuable. To me if you could trade 2 ideally with some swaps or secondss or even 3 frp and some comination of salary to the Hawks and get something like Murray, Bogi, and Capela thats superior to me personally. Torontos gm is nuts.

3 picks is what you'd give up for a guy like Dorian Finney Smith, not Siakam.

That contract though. I'd almost consider him a negative. Maybe if Paul Reed is involved somehow? Or if they want to send a pick (highly unlikely).

Still would like Delon Wright, though.

Reed/Morris/2nd for Wright/Shamet would work for me. You have to think Reed is going to veto that deal though. Can they rework his contract so the 2nd year is guaranteed but the 3rd year is fully UNG? Or are they stuck with the deal as is because they matched the offer sheet?

Shamet's not really a great 3-point shooter anymore for someone who makes a living as a 3-point specialist. He went from being elite (for one year) to being just about average for an NBA shooting guard. For reliable 3-point shooting, there's always Doug McDermott. The wire says that SAS is making him available. Mediocre to below average at pretty much everything else but elite at 3-point shooting. And an expiring contract.
Don't know what the Spurs would be asking.

The Kings won't trade Malik Monk, but...If we've got money to burn next summer then he should be the guy we go after. He's on the verge of really breaking through.

Yeah, he's a great offensive fit, but can't defend well enough to start

WOW you must hate the Sixers you’re dumping both Lavine and Grant!
No GM is dumb enough to do this. You might as well through Embiid in because as soon as this trade is made he will demand a trade.

Atlanta Hawks get:
Tobias Harris+Furkan Korkmaz+26 OKC 1st

This would be part 1 of the Hawks roster blowup prior to a Murray deal. Tobias could be an interesting fit there, but this as much about removing future salary as it is acquiring him.

Toronto Raptors get:
DeAndre Hunter, Jaden Springer, Marcus Morris '28 LAC 1st

The Raptors had interest in Hunter over the off-season, and his fit may be even better now that OG is gone. They take a flier on Springer and get a somewhat valuable pick.

Philadelphia 76ers get:
Pascal Siakam and Bogdan Bogdanovic

The Sixers get their (maybe) prime free agency target early and at a reasonable price. Pascal may not be a perfect fit, but he gives the team a talent boost that improves both their defense and playmaking. The addition of Bogdan's shooting should help ease some of the spacing questions, while giving Embiid a partner in 2 man actions while Maxey is on the bench.

Might make sense for Paul Reed to be in this too since I don't think he fits all that well next to Siakam in non-Embiid minutes (might even just go small with a Covington/Siakam frontcourt)

I like Keldon Johnson, but what exactly is he? To me he's a basketball player first and foremost without a position. He moves like a big shooting guard but plays like a combo forward. It's not so much his position on the floor that concerns me though. It's who he defends and how well he does it. Can he stick with a Tatum or Jaylen Brown? Can he stay in front of Giannis without fouling? We'll have to sink some assets and things into getting him, but he needs to be worth it.

all numbers say he’s a below average defensive player. Generally just an average role player. I’d stay away from him. He’s a role player who is thirsting for that 30M per year contract by padding his raw scoring numbers.

Something to monitor. I think Lavine is showing better all around game since his return.

And the Bulls are losing again. Personally I just think the team needs to be rebuilt around White and WIlliams for now.

I’ve been considering all other options this whole season, but I feel the longer the price goes down, the more likely we’ll go for LaVine unfortunately.

Per CBS sports, the Nets no longer view Bridges as a #1 option and now he is more of a complementary player.
