We should focus more on guard dribble penetration and probing forays into the paint to get Embiid the ball for easy finishes and out of position defenders who he can draw fouls on.

I think this has the makings of something special.

Yes and no. More middies, yes. More finishing straight off the dish, yes. More off the dribble, no. Less dribbling for Jo.

I dont mind him facing up and driving by guys(almost unstoppable)or the rhythm dribble

The Nate Silver simping losers on the general board have the worst opinions. Their hatred of Embiid is an all timer. All they can do is go VORP BPM RPM REM PER THE SNY WHY FLOB TRIN BLUN NDJ FL% RTR MAX INT FLOAT SUM VLOOKUP RAPTR MGIC RCKTS.

It definitely feels like Embiid has reached his peak. Scoring looks much easier for him right now than prior years as he’s put the entire package together. I think an underrated part of the Harden/Embiid PnR is that it’s a much easier way to get Embiid the ball in a comfortable iso position. Far fewer awful, predictable post entry passes these days.

Embiid is far from his peak, he is still getting better. Let's remember he is a very late bloomer who started playing basketball very late, and he had his development years plagued by injuries. He is one of those rare players who can still improve at 28-29 years old.

I agree he's just learning now how to dominate and certain aspects of his game have not all come together at once like passing and rebounding. Shooting in post, mid and 3. he's shown potential in multiple areas. He has the skillset of no weaknesses. But it's just all coming together. He still can't pick n roll and rebound the very things that will lead him to a chip yet.

I think it's mainly being finally healthy in playoffs + putting it all together in a playoff setting. It's baffling how he always gets some kind of injury before the 2nd round that plagues him in the worst possible moment.

He definitely reads realgm lol. I mean this is what half the fanbase on here was asking for after the first two weeks of this season.

I've got a secret for him, any franchise worth its salt is going to have fans that get pissy when instant gratification doesn't occur.

If you are reading this Joel, not every Sixers fan is an idiot. We are with you, big guy.

Imagine Colangelo being in charge of building a contender around you and being saddled with a fake co-star who in your heart you knew was a fraud but you had to publicly support him anyways for years. Quite honestly, to what degree he has driven this organization's success in spite of everything he should be awarded a lifetime contract.

He's a mopey boy. We knew that already. He'll say in interviews that he likes being held accountable but he gets mopey whenever someone on twitter criticizes him, or the fans boo when they give up a 20 point lead. What he's talking about isn't specific to Philadelphia. He'd be mopey everywhere.

He's said a lot of goofy things, but never anything towards the fans and city other than loving the passion and 'getting them' as far as I can remember. The guy lives on social media and is it appears he is taking some stupid comments there as the general fan feeling.

This is the first post I read without context and the opener almost made me do a spit take.

Seriously tho, I think Embiid just wanted to avoid the “Fire Doc” conversation and gave a trollish response to change subjects.

He actually thought it was a good idea to say this in an interview?

Maybe we should trade him...

I don't want him traded. I think this entire team just needs to settle down and focus on the task at hand.

Of course now all fans will act like this was never a thing, that the "finally ready to move on" narrative was not real...
You guys are the only ones to blame, you'll run Embiid out of town, when he is in fact one of the greatest things that has ever happened to this franchise.
Embiid is a legend, it's a shame we will lose such magnificent player just because stupid fans.
