Yeah like Embiid Simmons and Redick never made dumb decisions at the ends of games.
Hate hate hate.
I just want better players on the team. As a fan you should too. I don't become personally attached to players.
I really liked Okafor's skillset, but I recognize hes a dog who lacks the motivation to be a good player.
Covington is good, but for this team they need a better player than him.
I want better players on the team. You specifically seem to want a better player than Covington. All this stuff you're complaining about Covington not doing the rest of the roster is mostly also not doing.
I'm all for improving the team I'm just not sure why you're singling out Covington as the one that has to go as opposed to (insert one of 10 guys on last year's roster worse at basketball than Covington)
I'm fine with trading him if it makes sense it just sort of seems like you think it should be a priority to do so.
If I say something positive about Justin Anderson are you going to point out he's not Kawhi? Just seems like hate, maybe I'm getting the wrong impression.
All of the big time players we are looking at, play the same position as Covington. So of course he is the one to replace. He's also one of the oldest players and he has some value. Of course hes better than JA, I'm not having that argument.
As the teams stands right now, with Ben, Embiid, Dario and hopefully Reddick as locks on the roster-THAT lineup needs a guy who can create his own shot at the SF spot and be relied upon to score. And be a good defender.
In addition to that, Boston has a lot of guys who can guard Covington, but he cant guard them. They are the main competition for years to come so you have to upgrade that spot.
