If LAL pick falls between 2-5, does it go to the Saltics?

Who has to draft him? Howie or Colangelo jr?

Pistons look like they're about to blow a decent sized lead against the Wiz. Would be a nice win for them to go back up two over LA.

They did. Think they stay at #12, so let's hope Charlotte can hold LA off for #11.

Nice crafty GM work by BC to not get worked on that trade. He had the foresight to see the pick was not likely to be as valuable as many had predicted and pulled the trigger to get the prospect he preferred. Good!!

The Sac pick is likely to be as good as predicted.

For real. Sacramento should be a bottom 5 team next year. The Celtics have a very good chance of getting a very good prospect.

You're talking like a Celtics' fan.

At this moment, Sacramento is 6th-7th worst in the league.
This is while they are publicly tanking (resting their veterans since january every 2 games, trading George Hill, ...).

So you're projecting them to be worse, taking into account that (?):
- They get another nice player (draft)
- Their young core is developping (Fox, Hield, Bogdanovic, Jackson, ...)
- They have money to add 2 more decent players through Free Agency. I'm thinking at players like Smart, Monroe, Favors, Barton, Lopez, ...
- They have no reason to tank next season (like LA this season)

Sacramento has 25-26 W's this season, I see no reason to think they cannot improve to 35 W's next season with another young player, some decent vets and more experience.

2019 draft is probably trash though. Much rather take Mikal Bridges 2018 then someone in 3-8 range in 2019 (we get #1 in 2019 its protected)

And we will have 10% to 14% chances to get the #1.

bloody Charlotte losing to Chicago WTF lets hope they win 1 or 2 more games because LA is gonna have a tough time to win more than 1 more game with their remaining schedule.
next season Sacramento will play to win and should win more than 30 games which means the pick will be in the 9-12 range, slightly tough pill to swallow but I believe will be worth it.

Hopefully whoever they get is a good fit with whoever they take with the Lakers pick.

I'm okay with this team not having a lotto pick in the 2019 Draft. As of now, RJ Barrett is considered the top prospect, and from what I've seen of him, I don't believe he's a franchise altering talent. Very good player, but someone like him can probably be picked up in free agency.

Pretty amusing that a team that is 47-30 with 12 wins in a row can add a lottery pick.

We're 48-30 without Fultz.
Imagine Him healthy with a top 10 pick and a quality free agent we'll win 60 next year.

Yeah I mean I think we're underestimating what is means at the end of the year when you're a team that's not making the playoffs but doesn't own their pick, these days. Sac will have no reason to tank, just like the Lakers this year. Their record would probably even be better if they didn't get hit with so many injuries down the stretch.
