I just want a reporter to come out and ask BC why they all of a sudden shut him down when his agent came out and said something. It shouldn’t take an agent to say something in order to get Fultz to sit out until he shoots normally. No matter if it’s Fultz who isn’t really hurt or is really hurt or whatever isn’t what bugs me. It’s that the Sixers only shut him down after the agent spoke to Woj. It shouldn’t take that. Anyone watching the game could see Fultz didn’t play his normal game. The Sixers should be the bigger man and cover for Fultz even if isn’t really hurt. They shouldn’t be throwing a 19 year old under the bus.

Good luck getting BC to say it. As much as we all want him to, this is probably a cover-up from Scott O'Neil and Josh Harris. The ownership is completely **** with this team. They did exactly that. They threw a 19-year-old under the bus, so they could sell extra tickets, and didn't want to make it seem like their crackpot medical team messed up again. The biggest issue I have is, how they are allowed to continue working on our players when all they have done is misdiagnose injuries, have borderline malpractice incidents, and utterly destroy industry based recovery timelines.

BC may not answer but I want the question asked why it took for the agent to say something to shut Fultz down.

To be fair..

It would be dumb for the team to be transparent. Because they just got into a series of bad breaks that makes them incompetent. While if they just play this one right with a lot of mixed signal, you just dont know where to attack that in a larger scheme of things like 2-3 seasons later when were competing for ECF this is just a small blip.

why would you put yourself in a bad position and take all the pressure now that would hinder your future decisions?

BC is a smart guy. He wont fall into the trap of some amateur media guy.

They shouldn't have to say publicly every little treatment that a player is getting on an injury, but they SHOULD update us that a player is injured, and that he is being treated for an injury, and they shouldn't be able to hide behind the medical staff.

I hate when they say things like we have a process and he will be evaluated by our medical staff and will be approved for more activity when he passes certain thresholds, and then NOT tell us where he is in the process or what those thresholds are. Then the media doesn't ASK about what those thresholds are.

This is what they did with Simmons and Embiid last year.

They should be able to tell us things like:

He is not currently cleared for 5 on 5 basketball right now. Between where he is now and being cleared for 5 on 5 we need to pass the following benchmarks.

Practice for 30 minutes with no pain, and no swelling the following day: Do this for 5 days.
Practice for 60 minutes with no pain, and no swelling the following day: Do this for 5 days.
Etc...

Give us an idea what the process is, where he is in that process, whether he failed a certain level, and is repeating the same step or whatever. If we knew that kind of stuff we would have a lot more confidence in what he was saying instead of just these open ended statements that they get away with forever.

Why am I hearing people talking about surgery? How can you surgically repair something that has no structural damage? I maintain this is a 90% mental issue with Fultz.

Dr. Chao said surgery not out of the question for this type of issue and went into detail on why this is troublesome for players.

You need to let go of the 90% mental thing, it's based off of nothing and it's basically been debunked already and is kind of disrespectful to Fultz at this point.

It's really encouraging because he can finally lift his right arm over his head. He's made a lot of progress during this resting period.

I guess seeing him on the floor, with a basketball in his hand is progress. Hopefully the shoulders improving because if not, were wasting time and just prolonging the situation.

Wasting time and prolonging a situation? That doesn't sound like the Sixers at all.

He could always lift his right arm over his head. He did it in every game this season.

Are they serious? This kid needs rest, not overhand throwing. You can clearly see it hurts him bc he keeps his right arm locked at his side after each throw while the left keeps swinging in stride.

That must be the Sixers philosophy.

"Markelle will be out with shoulder soreness and will be reevaluated in 3 weeks... in the mean time we are going to work on overhead one-hand passes..." Derp.

This is shaping up to be the best draft in a decade. This trade up looks more ridiculous by the day.

I know you were being facetiousness.... but they were sling passes. He wasn't lifting his arm vertically like he would in a shooting motion. This type of thing wouldn't hurt him at all.
