For Dejounte Lovers..

Bulls: Tobias Harris
- dumps Lavine

Hawks: Zach Lavine
- found a scorer to play with Trae
- dumps Capela’s contract

Sixers: Dejounte Murray, Capela and 2026 Bulls 1st round pick
- stroke of genius to land Murray and a first round pick, instead of giving up a couple of firsts

Don’t think the Hawks would look at Capela as a salary dump. They also wouldn’t trade Murray for LaVine.

But I love this for Philly and Chicago!

This looks like a reasonable trade value wise but I’m telling you there is zero chance the Sixers trade Maxey. I’m not sure there’s anyone in the NBA the Sixers would trade Maxey for. Let alone add 3 FRP’s.
I’m not saying Maxey is the best player in the game. I’m saying you don’t trade Steph Curry,Dwane Wade.( the face of a franchise.)

I assume a player could decide to switch a PO to a TO at their discretion with the team's approval?

If so:

Morris, Korkmaz, 2 LA 2nds, and 2 PHI 2nds to ATL
Hunter to LA
Russell to PHI

Yeah, what? I don't even like him much, but he's got an obvious role he could play on a contender as a big wing defender that can shoot a bit. D'Lo can't share the floor with Maxey in a real game.

DLo shares the floor with LeBron. He would be able to share it with Maxey. He can play the volume 3 point shooter role. Defensively is where the problem exists. But he not a worse defender then Bogdan or LaVine who some are hammering for. I don’t want him but he would be great as a 6th man.
Idk the infatuation with Hunter: yea he’s a big wing. He’s a younger Tobias without the post game to abuse smaller player. He literally a 3&D who 3 isn’t consistent although it looks good this year when he actually plays. He’s injury prone. He plays defense at about the same level as Tobias. He can’t guard Tatum if that’s what the love fest is about. A team that’s bad on defense is giving up on a 3&D 26 yr old who is making a light 20 mil. I wouldn’t mind him on the team for two seconds but Atlanta is going for that.
DLo may can be had for two seconds or a pick swap. They need assets to give to Atlanta for Murray. They’re depleted.

All reports are we will be looking for role players. I don’t have any firsts to give: just multiple 2nds or swaps unless that players is a real difference maker. Like Markennon, Bridges etc

Who should be available for 2nds since a lot of teams want firsts.

Malcolm Brogdan, Bojan Bogdanovic, DFS, Jordan Clarkson Buddy Hield but their teams are probably going to hold out for a 1st rounder.

Tyus Jones, DLo, Royce ONeal, Luke Kennard, Keldon Johnson, Dennis Schroder, Olynyk, is probably the tier of players we will be looking to add with

What would warriors be willing to take to part with Klay Thompson? 33 yr old expiring who hasn’t been playing like a max player and turned down a 2yr 48 deal before the season.

Dinwiddie could be interesting. Expiring deal, playmaking to run the 2nd unit, size to play with Maxey.

The premise I was working from in another thread:

Prince and Vincent to Philly
Hunter to LA
Morris and 4 LA 2nds to ATL

Now I don’t know about you guys, but I have less than zero interest in taking Vincent even though Prince fills a role. If Russell will switch to a TO he’s expiring, and adds some scoring and ball handling off the bench. Sixers are basically giving up nothing, adding Korkmaz sneaks them out of the tax so it can be looked at as two 2nds to duck the tax and a free 3 month flyer.

Tobias and Melton for Thompson and Moody matches almost perfectly salary wise.

If the Dubs would do that as is, Morey should pull the trigger.

Ah, saw that one. Feels like we're just helping the Lakers get a guy they want for no reason.

If D'Lo would do that, I don't see why they'd need us involved in the first place.

And apparently Brooklyn is done with him. Morris, Korkmaz, and the Knick 2nd. Get that done.

Who can we get at forward that rebounds, shoots, and can take on premier forwards on the defensive end?
