Pretty much everyone who doesn't have a NTC and isn't named Curry/Lebron/KD gets talked about at the trade deadline, no?

Request of Tom Moore
Tom, will you please let us know Embiid's standing reach and wingspan now that he is 7'2" tall? Thank you.

“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

And just as importantly, what his actual measurements are.
He was 7'1 in shoes before the draft, and now they say he has grown two inches, which obviously would mean that he is 7'3 in shoes. We can't assume that to be the case though.
I think when Pompey said that they measured him and he is two inches taller I think that he is lying. He is probably referring to how he was "listed" at 7'0, and now he self reported to be 7'2 in sandals at the doctor's office. If it was true that the Sixers measured him, and also true that he grew two inches, then he would be 7'3 in shoes.
We don't really have any idea how tall he actually is due to all of this sloppiness. Not that i expect Tom, or any reporter, to know the answer, but I wish that a reporter would ask specifically about his real measurements.
I mean they talk to the team all the time. Just get it on the record. Specifically ask exactly how tall Embiid is barefoot, what his wingspan is, and what his standing reach is.
I don't see why the Sixers wouldn't be willing to share that information.

BTW, I agree on the "shoe measurements." Bare feet across the Board! I'm down with science too.

Awesome!
I would think that they would be ok with sharing that info. After all it isn't really anything proprietary. It should actually just be good marketing material, like saying how much horsepower a car that you are selling as.
