I guess if I was faced with that situation, a lot would depend on how much Harden and Embiid wanted to play together.

The situation the Nets are faced with right now. Durant (and DeAndre Jordan) are really pushing to play with Harden and Harden really wants to play with those guys. I bet many in the Nets front office feel fine about just rolling with Durant + Irving, Dinwiddie, LeVert. They will have no issues whatsoever scoring the ball against any defense or any collection of defenders.

First game but so far Nets look good and Wisemen looks like cheeks.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

I don't know, Wiseman is a fluid athlete. Looks pretty impressive even if he's not completely impacting the game right now.

Nets are unstoppable offensively. It's like the Chiefs. You need to outgun them because you're not going to be able to stop them.

Kinda disappointed in Jordan Poole. I thought he'd take a jump this year and be more impactful.

Obviously Nets look impressive, but I'm not ready to crown them just yet. That Warriors team is absolute trash outside of Steph.

Fluid athlete, freakish length and has a jumper. He looks impressive in terms of upside.

He’s decision making is slow right now because he’s still overwhelmed and processing things

Sounds like Ayton all over again.

Golden State should have added a scorer instead of a big.

GSW is finally going to have to face the fact that Wiggins is terrible.

GS is finished relying on known low iq losers like Wiggins and Oubre. Bob Myers has done a low key terrible job recently.

Admittedly, i havent watched his games. I think he can play better defense than Ayton

Life has a funny way of balancing things. One season you look like the most talented team ever. Next season injury piles up and you never recover.

To expound on this: they are going to have to use picks to move Wiggins for someone useful.

They sort of got a pick to take him on last year. Russell is fine but he's probably not worth the likely lottery pick they got in that deal. I think the idea that he was suddenly a positive asset was mostly internet driven, I don't think anyone in the league bought it.

Wiggins is bad but I assume the hope was he would be the 5th guy in that lineup. Klay being hurt has thrown that whole team out of wack. With Draymond missing that game they were playing guys that don't belong in NBA rotations, they had a guy on a two way covering Durant for huge stretches of the game.

I think the Nets should try to trade Dinwiddie to the Spurs for Dejounte Murray. I'm not sure the Spurs want to do that because Dinwiddie is 27 to Murray's 24, but they don't seem like the team that wants to ever tank. This would all be contingent on what the Spurs are looking to do moving forward, but Dinwiddie is more likely to win you games than Murray imo.

Murray would be a player that fits more in line with the Nets as he's a former NBA 2nd team defender and can won't be a liability off ball. Would likely move Kyrie away from having to defend the other teams best guard.

And so it begins...Rockets with Covid impact to the roster. Not sure if this is all related to Harden, or if Martin's positive test is completely separate. Enjoy these early games. Life outside the bubble may prove to be too much for the NBA to pull off. Hopefully we don't have another pause until late Feb/early March, but the timing and prevalence in society in general doesn't bode well for the start of the season.

Yeah I agree remember that year the warriors won 3 championships in a row, followed by the LA Clippers winning the championship the following year......Yeah neither do I.
