Maybe Brown? Sure ain’t Caris....

I heard Kemba, Brown, Tatum referred to as a "BIG THREE" on a podcast today, so yeah.

Read on Twitter

Another BIG THREE

I don't even know wtf these terms mean anymore.

Not much to read into. Literally the best three players on any team is a big 3. Granted the Bucks have a very impressive big 3 now.

I know fl311 said we haven’t offered Simmons yet, but I’m curious if we’ve offered anything else, or are just standing by entirely.

That's a spicy thought. Go all in on Mitchell with the Harden picks and swaps package. He and Simmons fight for alpha dog to see who the real ROY is.

What’s going on with Zach LaVine? Haven’t heard a peep about him.

I'm glad we haven't traded for Buddy Hield, and I'm fine keeping Ben and running this thing back with JoJo and Ben at the forefront. Maybe an under the radar move, Patty Mills, but honestly man, let's just run this back. Internal improvements out of Shake, Mattise, and Hopefully Zhaire. Let's see how the draft plays out. Maybe we're trying to position for that instead of these splash moves.

Are we even a top 4 team in the East if we stand pat? I wasn't the biggest believer in Brett, but I don't think the switch from him to Doc alone elevates us to contender status.

Still my darkhorse for Harden. If they can keep Porter and trade everyone else for Harden and another star, they'd be an instant contender. They have the young players and draft picks.

Definitely not. We either need to make a move for Harden, or we need to get creative. Just small improvements will not fix this broken team. Still need a guy who can get his shot whenever he wants.

I keep seeing people talking about Shake Milton as an asset and I just don't get it. I'd love to hold the loss card on that one though.

fl311 wrote:From what I’ve very recently heard, there is no Nets deal. Rockets want Simmons and Morey knows this. Sixers aren’t willing to trade Ben at this time.

That’s all I know so please don’t ask more question. :)
This isn't a question about what you've heard as much as what your opinion is on the current "stalemate". Do you suppose the reason Horford/Harris deals haven't gone down yet is because its hard to trade them, or because Morey is currently trying to trade them for Harden, and if he trades them now he loses the Simmons leverage?

It's not necessarily that bad. Even last year the 4-6 seeds were close.

Toronto might be worse. Gasol, Ibaka, FVV are free agents. Lowry is year older.

Miami is overrated because they were surprisingly good in the bubble. They were still the 5th seed and i think that is more indicative of their real strength.

Milwaukee will be better.

I dont trust the Nets without Harden. No leader, no playmaker, players that will play just for their contracts, rookie coach etc. I think they will disappoint.

The Celtics will probably be similar to last year, maybe a little bit better.

You could also put Indiana among these teams.

If the Sixers trade Horford for better fits and get some guard that can do something in the half court they dont look too bad (50-55 wins) in the East. But is is likely not enough for being real contenders, unless there is a significant improvement from Simmons/Embiid.

His most recent tweet: UPDATE: things moving quickly. A deal seems likely.

I have to say, if Richardson, Thybulle, Zhaire and picks are only getting back LaVine then he better be signing an extension and we better have some other tricks up our sleeves to fill depth. Because otherwise...

I love this guy! How many teams have we traded Zhaire to already this offseason?
