Knicks are shopping Grimes. I'd like him in Philly.

Who should be available for 2nds since a lot of teams want firsts.

Malcolm Brogdan, Bojan Bogdanovic, DFS, Jordan Clarkson Buddy Hield but their teams are probably going to hold out for a 1st rounder.

Tyus Jones, DLo, Royce ONeal, Luke Kennard, Keldon Johnson, Dennis Schroder, Olynyk, is probably the tier of players we will be looking to add with

Dinwiddie could be interesting. Expiring deal, playmaking to run the 2nd unit, size to play with Maxey.

Thought I listed him. Definitely in that tier.

Dorian Finney-Smith is another name to keep an eye one. I just worry about Brooklyn not wanting to deal with us simply out of spite and because we're rivals with them. Still...It's unlikely that we even see them in the playoffs this year. They're barely hanging on to the last play in spot. Dinwiddie, DFS, O'neal, or even Cam Johnson would all be amazing additions to this team if we could get Brooklyn to deal. Mikel Bridges of course being a dream come true, but they'll never part with him.

Take a look at his on-offs. Absolutely brutal.

Grimes has been terrible for the Knicks. No thanks. He's not even been good at what he was supposed to be good at coming out of college.

He fits the prototype, won’t cost a ton, and is still youngish. Absolutely worth a shot.

For what though? He would no doubt give us another defender to throw at the likes of Brown or Tatum. Guy just smothers whoever he covers. I wouldn't mind having him here at all. Not a prolific shooter, but he's at least reliable if left open. Hustles, crashes the boards. Toronto might want to hold onto him.

Reed is able to veto any trade for this year and he can’t be traded to Utah for a year since he signed an offer sheet the summer that we matched.

If that happens, then you remove the Reed-Olynyk swap.

Points for originality but how does this make us better? Tobias is the best player and asset here, and the 1st isn't far behind. I like Brown, and Huerter and Barnes could play roles, but this one feels pretty slanted against us value-wise.

I was thinking of the same thing. I have Jonathan Isaac and Jaden McDaniels as my targets

Kelly Oubre, Nick Batum, Tobias Harris, Robert Covington sans the rebounding.

It doesn't. It makes the team worse and wastes a 1st round pick.

Is there a way to get hield and cam Johnson without giving up core players?
Cov/Kork/Martin plus a second to the pacers.
Morris/House/springer/bamba plus a first to the nets.

Maxey/Beverley
Melton/hield
Harris/oubre
Johnson/batum
Embiid/Reed

Would be a deep team with offensive weapons and Shooting and also capable in the Other End.

Here is an attempt at a trade that I believe would be legal. People will cry because players that are unreasonably popular players (Hello Batum, Covingtonm and Reed) are invlovled lol. But I think the team would be clearly superior.

Atlanta would get: Batum, Covingon, Morris, Reed and our first this tyear and the firsts from the Clippers deal.
Sixers would get: Murray, Bogdanovich, and Capela.

Sixers playoff Rotation:

Embiid
Harris
Bogdanovich
Murray
Maxey
Melton
Beverley
Oubre
Capela

Looks like the second best team in the league to me with a much better chance against the Celtics.

Heck yes for the Sixers. I don't know why Atlanta would do that, though.

This team undersized. Weak defensively and will get killed on the boards.
