Even if he does, you can't count on it often.

There is no excuse for Covington to not be traded in the next 50 minutes. Only an incompetent GM would not trade him with a 2nd round pick or two and upgrade the roster.

Lol Bev said Morey told him he wasn't getting traded. Tough to see players wanting to come here under Morey with the way he treats them.

A truly dark day in franchise history. You'll be missed Pat Bev

That's a whole lot of nothing IMO. What's a GM supposed to say when a player asks if he's going to be traded? Plus a lot has changed with this team's outlook this season in the 2 weeks since then.

Morey doesn't give a **** about that tho
meeeeeh
Got rid of all our "enforcers" in a 2 hour period. You know if someone fouls Embiid hard, Cam Payne isn't going to do ****.
Bah, we didnt win last year with the great enforcer PJ Tucker playing 30 minutes.
Pat Bev was an actual leader. Tucker was never at his level other than that one moment in the playoffs w/Joel.
I think I speak for many here that nobody needs Bev playing more than 10-15 a game, especially in the playoffs, but someone like that in the locker room and bench is invaluable.

I think Morey is using him as a Trojan Horse to catalyze the Doc, Dame, Giannis inevitable fallout.

Lowry is also a leader, pretty sure this is a Nurse move, he wants his guy.

Pat Bev's skills are suited to a contender. Not to a MASH unit like us. He's in a good spot now. Quit crying for him.
Meanwhile Lowry is a better fit for us since we desperately need shooting and playmaking.

And now the Pacers just wasted a 2nd to get Doug McDermott (along with Marcus Morris).
