All we had to offer was 2 freaking seconds Morey. We've sold more seconds for useless cash than that.

Because to get rich you have to have a sense of urgency. Everything needs to get done immediately.
Which doesn’t work for NBA roster building.

Shams said the Celtics were going to take Fleming so teams wanted to move to 31 to leapfrog them.

Omar Cooper wouldn't answer when asked if Ace will report to Utah.
Bilas added that Ace hasn't shown up for day after press conference with his new team.

Give me Bogo. Most upside. Otherwise Thiero who is similar to CMB. Or Raynard, because a legit stretch-5 is extremely valuable.

I’ll watch YouTube videos on both real quick and report back.

Thank god we avoided this dumpster fire.
Although if you don’t want to play chicken with any GM, it’s Danny Ainge.

He's going to give up $40 million? Ill believe it when I see it. What would happen though if he doesnt play? In baseball if a player doesnt sign they normally get a comp pick somewhere around where the player was drafted. Not sure this has happened before.

If he did sit out a full year, he would just re-enter the draft. Under previous CBA’s, the team would get a compensatory pick at the same slot in the second round. So if it is still the rule, the Jazz would get the 5th pick of the second round in the 2026 draft.

We absolutely could have gotten into the late 1st round for 35 and 2 picks, nice job Morey.

Morey would rather play online poker on his phone than make calls to other GMs.

He's playing a dangerous game, a year where he is playing in Europe or overseas. There are at least 3 prospects as of now that would go before him no question. I dont see him not signing.

It feels like he's just going to take a center hedging against Joel not playing and not wanting to rely on an old vet center.

I guess the late firsts have less value due to their guaranteed contract?

Re: Draft Day Shenanigans (IV)
Dammit. My two favorite targets go off the board 1 and 2. That's deflating.
