People need to stop saying GS would trade Klay. There's no chance of them trading him to us. None.

The 76ers need to be trying to get Norman Powell before the Raptors figure out he's their CJ McCollum.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Yup. Jrue would be great with Simmons. That would take away his heavy mid range game off PnR, he'd then play more off ball with drives and 3s.

Last year of his contract.

Meh I don't know about that comp. His shooting last year is probably not sustainable. His shooting in college both from FT and from 3 were significantly worse than CJ and their usages are not comparable. His defense looks like it projects better than McCollum though. I agree we should be very interested in him.

Trading an asset as a non-playoff team for less than a full year of team control seems like a complete misunderstanding of NBA success cycles. It might be different if you knew he would sign a long term deal.

Norman Powell and Fred VanFleet would be a great return for Noel, at this point. I CANNOT envision his trade value getting better at all. I'd rather get a little something for him than nothing at all.

Meh at Cory Joseph. A G that doesn't shoot threes or distribute. The 1st round pick would be a necessary asset to have, but I'd much rather push for basically any other G (Powell, VanFleet, Wright) than Joseph.

How many years does Joseph have on his contract? And if we can get a 1st and Joseph for Noel then why not ask for Powell and nothing more or Wright and a 1st? Toronto is going to Ben picking in the high 20s anyway so that's pick doesn't mean all that much to me.

McCaw was the better draftable prospect, but he might not ever have the NBA body needed to fulfill his defensive potential. He has the defensive hands and instincts, though.

Powell's jumpshot progress trajectory has been insane and vaulted him from an irrelevant young player to a prospect with legitimate starting potential. He has the size, jumper and defensive hands to make him intriguing.

Sort of a random source, expect we're talking, but that's all in taking from that.

Joseph has next year on his deal and then a player option that he will definitely opt out of. He's a good player, but his skillset is pretty lame. He's a small guard that defends okay and drives to the rim. Doesn't shoot or distribute much at all. Not really intriguing in any sense and definitely not a starter.

Corey Joseph and the #20 pick in the draft isn't nearly a good enough return. I doubt Colangelo is that silly. While Colangelo hasn't been great in the draft as a GM, he hasn't been horrible if you look at all of his trades back to Phoenix. I'm willing to bet that Corey Joseph stuff is some hopeful thinking from an over enthusiastic Raptors fan.

Agreed. It's probably someone trying to connect the dots by assuming Brett Brown's past affiliation with Cory Joseph would make for a desired reunion.

Why not Delon Wright then?

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
