What is the best-case timeline for a return?

Maybe I'm overreacting but I sense a complete rebuild in the offseason now including an Embiid and Simmons trade.

Nick Foles ain't coming through that door.

Yup. It’s at least 2-3 weeks to be conservative. Sixers screwed. Tony Bradley would actually be helpful vs Hawks over Dwight Howard and mike Scott.

Especially because he's a lot bigger than Brandon Roy.

Terrible situation. Listen to doctors obviously, but this seems unlikely/risky business. Brutal :/

We have to finish off the Wizards and beat the Hawks without Joel. That hopefully gives him enough time to rest up and manage the issue. Then he comes back against Nets/Bucks and for the Finals.

Not impossible, but our path just got a lot harder.

This is also why it was CRUCIAL to get the #1 seed and avoid Bucks/Nets until ECF. If we were #2 or #3 seed right now our season would be OVER.

We're not beating the Hawks without Embiid, their shooting already create problems for us. Without him we can't keep up with the amount of scoring they have.

Not to mention Dwight is likely unplayable against them too went they go small

We ARE beating the Hawks without Embiid. Home court will be the difference maker.

Sig bet right now.

Read on Twitter

Read that. I guess the tear is on a zone where he could eventually keep playing.

I think, however, that giving his history and size the best thing would be to shut him down

But what do i know? i'm not a doctor lol

If Kyle Lowry had been acquired, you think Simmons is playing center with Embiid out?
