They need a breakup (possibly it was Tatum or Brown pick one).

Both players work for each team. Win/Win

Pritchard
Langford
Tatum
Simmons
Horford

Has very high potential.

Maxey
Curry
Brown
Harris
Embiid

Still some overlaps between Harris/Brown but hey beggars can’t be choosers here. Move Harris for a peanut and everything is okay.

So you didn’t like my potential lineup of Maxey Curry Ingram Harris Embiid in Fantasy thread, but you like your lineup of Maxey Curry Brown Harris Embiid.

Hmmmmm…

I don’t like either or because Harris is still there. I’d rather have 2x Niangs to fill that spot.

This is my preferred setup list:

Murray
Curry
Brown
Olynyk
Embiid

Super streamline and easy to play around with. Double that up on the bench which we’ve done and we are good to go imo.

Each position has to compliment each other like peanut butter and jelly.

You want to start Maxey? Fine then Green starts.
Curry starting? Murray is the preferred option.
High volume goes to Embiid + Brown/Ingram? Cool have 2 bombers one 3/4, one guard (Olynyk/Ingles/Crowder/Gallo, Simons/Curry/KORKGOD).

There’s one ball. GM’s have done either a great job or a bad job on team synergy. Look at the Lakers, Clippers, Blazers, Celtics. They have doo doo synergy.

Look at us now, the Suns and the Cavs.

Morey’s winning games with a mini budget lol. He starts at neg 65mil and hey we are on top and still people here criticize him.

Embiid + small ball ballhandlers/gunners and switch 3/4 big bombers this is the way. Because Embiid brings that much gravity and attention you want the usage to go to complimentary parts to his game to max him out.

Playmaking
Shooting
Ballhandlers in the pnr
Running threats
4 out spread schemes

Can you see the archetypes here?

Rockets 95 were one of the first OG modern 3p “small ball” teams.

Harris is literally the anti Embiid blueprint and so is Ben.

I did, i just don’t think they will want to trade J.Brown already. Seems like a risky move to make for Brad Stevens.
Boston fans hate Simmons, Stevens knows all his weeknes, so I highly doubt that type of deal will happen. Although I love J.Brown and I’m rooting for Celtics to fail.

I guess I will root for Celtics to fail harder lol.

I would love Jaylen Brown for Simmons, and I can’t believe people want Dejounte Murray more then Jaylen Brown.

There is definitely something to the idea that Jaylen is a toxic personality.

IIRC during the draft process, Jaylen got a rep for being "too smart" for his own good or some ****.

I don't get how either Brown or Tatum is the problem tho.... even if both guys are big meanie poos...their talent means you try to make that work lol.

So that sounds like a pretty substantial portion of "star" players.

He's been adversarial towards the front office and coaching staff, throughout his time there. He doesn't listen or take guidance. He's purposely antagonistic. He's been the source if a lot of toxic lockerroom stuff in Boston since he's been drafted.

Oh, look, money matters again. Honestly, if you can't get a difference maker in a trade, I'd rather drag this out for his whole damn contract. Let him rot for his prime years and sign a vet minimum deal at the end after being fined for 95% of his contract.

He can't drag out this crap forever, he will have to play when its clear they aren't going to trade him for the Wolve's or Spurs puu puu platter. I still say November 13 when they go on the 6 game road trip is the logical point for him to play. If not then maybe not at all this season.

I agree. No reason to trade him for players that are on the same level as our role players. What's the point?

Show up, get fined forever or agree to a contract void. 3 options for Ben.

Al Horford is my best friend. He told me that Jaylen Brown and Kyrie Irving are the two worst things that ever happened to the Celtics lockeroom.

We could use a little bit of a guy with an alpha mentality on the wing, Jimmy Butler is an arrogant ass and good gods how we miss him

The problem in Boston is both Brown and Taytum are forwards with little playmaking ability. They cant create for others. When also your PG is Marcus Smart things can get ugly.

In the past they had Kemba who was some kind of a floor general (even when its not his speciality) and a great coach in Stevens who helped to get things going. Simmons actually makes some kind of sense for them, at least hes a willing passer.

For the same reason i dont think Brown is an ideal fit here, we somewhat still lack a creator in the halfcourt. I rather have a guard like Beal or Lillard. But hey, given our situation, i think it would be great to get a twoway star like Brown entering his prime on a good cotract. We figure out the PG position later.

Brown would be a massive upgrade over Danny and Tiise...which is honestly what we need. Having some ability to create for himself and be a big body to throw at other teams on defense makes it a no brainer IMO. Doesn't solve all of the problems mind you but no one guy can do that nor is said guy available for Ben. Brown himself is probably not available for Ben lol....but that is the spot I'd target for upgrade atm. Maxey and Shake aren't world beaters at the guard spot but on this team not sure you need that...

but that is early season honeymoon talking...
