They need a breakup (possibly it was Tatum or Brown pick one).
Both players work for each team. Win/Win
Pritchard
Langford
Tatum
Simmons
Horford
Has very high potential.
Maxey
Curry
Brown
Harris
Embiid
Still some overlaps between Harris/Brown but hey beggars can’t be choosers here. Move Harris for a peanut and everything is okay.
So you didn’t like my potential lineup of Maxey Curry Ingram Harris Embiid in Fantasy thread, but you like your lineup of Maxey Curry Brown Harris Embiid.
Hmmmmm…
I don’t like either or because Harris is still there. I’d rather have 2x Niangs to fill that spot.
This is my preferred setup list:
Murray
Curry
Brown
Olynyk
Embiid
Super streamline and easy to play around with. Double that up on the bench which we’ve done and we are good to go imo.
Each position has to compliment each other like peanut butter and jelly.
You want to start Maxey? Fine then Green starts.
Curry starting? Murray is the preferred option.
High volume goes to Embiid + Brown/Ingram? Cool have 2 bombers one 3/4, one guard (Olynyk/Ingles/Crowder/Gallo, Simons/Curry/KORKGOD).
There’s one ball. GM’s have done either a great job or a bad job on team synergy. Look at the Lakers, Clippers, Blazers, Celtics. They have doo doo synergy.
Look at us now, the Suns and the Cavs.
Morey’s winning games with a mini budget lol. He starts at neg 65mil and hey we are on top and still people here criticize him.
Embiid + small ball ballhandlers/gunners and switch 3/4 big bombers this is the way. Because Embiid brings that much gravity and attention you want the usage to go to complimentary parts to his game to max him out.
Playmaking
Shooting
Ballhandlers in the pnr
Running threats
4 out spread schemes
Can you see the archetypes here?
Rockets 95 were one of the first OG modern 3p “small ball” teams.
Harris is literally the anti Embiid blueprint and so is Ben.
