Most amazing thing about him is if you have watched him through his career are his chameleon powers. Through the years he changed so many roles on the court.

Beginning from point guard when he was young though the small forward/point forward faze, then also when he became 6-10 his transition under the basket being the power forward but still one with the point (leading the break ect.) skills.

Then in first year with Efes in Euroleague/Turkish league he played basically under the basket most of the time like a 5. Then again change in his second year with Efes where he become exclusively stretch 4 (that was the 50-40-90 Euroleague season).

Finally in the NBA, from the main offensive option in second half of the last season, to this year where he has found right balance in the lineup with Simmons and Embiid being mostly stretch 4 but also utilising other aspects of his game when needed apart from the point skills/duties that are now lying solely on the Simmons back.

The point is, all those role changes trough the years gave him versatility and will give him amazing value as he get's older and starts to become little better in all these areas.

He is in the sixteen spot among PF playing more than 25 min/g both in RPM and PER.

45%-39%-90% are no joke.

He has to improve on defense before enter in top-10 PF conversation.

By the way, according to espn insiders crew (Marks, Pelton and herring) , he is the 25°best NBA player under age 25.

For contex: jojo is third and Ben sixth.
Who is the second?

Antetokoumpo 1, and then?

I don't get all the love for Jokic. He's good on offense for sure, but he's pretty bad on defense. I guess you could say the same about KAT, but I think KAT is making some progress on defense.

I also think Markkanen is vastly underrated. He's not much different than Porzingis yet he's 13 spots behind Porzingis.

Dario isn't as sexy as some of the other names and he did struggle early in the year, but he should be higher...maybe in the range around #20.

I agree, he is better than Turner, Kuzma and Wiggins, Gordon for sure. Markkanen is good but he isnt as good as Saric is i think as a player. Ingram also is not, atleast not yet a better player. N Saric is still growing. Especially on D. And seams he worked on his athleticism aswell. Porzingis has it all man. He shoots lights out, drives so well, moves without the ball great, he is a beast on D and crazy rim protector, gets alot of rebounds and has ok assists. He s a 22 ppg guy. Markkanen is part of what Porz is but a much lower lvl and much worse on D.

Teams are in a really tough spot with Embiid posting up and Dario/JJ waiting for a kickout pass. They are playing much closer to Dario lately and he is still hitting his shots.

#5 in 3-point percentage among PFs
#2 in 3-point makes among PFs

It's gonna be crazy when he starts to penetrate and drive all those closeouts. Guys will respect his shot and rush for contest and then he can easily drive past them. Most of the stretch 4s don't have that skill really.

Would you trade Saric for Tatum?

What if Saric is the 3rd of our BIG 3 instead of Fultz?

LAst 15 games:

PPG: 17.5
RPG: 7
APG. 2.7
TOV: 1.9

% spilts: 51.4%, 46.3%, 85.7%

Advanced

OFFRTG: 114.0
DEFRTG: 105.4
NETRTG: 8.6
TS%: 66.0 (WOW)
USG%: 21.3

What a stat-line.
I suspect that most of these numbers would be good even since the start of 2018, not only in the last 15 games.

As I stated long time ago: I can't look forward to see Dario in the playoff. I really think he can elevate his game even more when the results really matter.

EDIT:

Since January,1 : 48%, 43%,90%

WOW!

We should trade him, lol

The thing is he'll be a lot better in couple of years, he is just such a smart player. I really believe eventually he can be 3rd best guy on championship squad.

I dont know if you noticed the off balance 2 in the corner last night. It looked freaking wet. No doubt in his shot. He looked like a born shooter doing that. Its something you would never see from him before, even at the end of last year when he got it all together. Those kind of plays and ease and confidence and relaxed manner he does it with are signs of his continuing improvement.
But the real impressive stuff is that he improved his overall shooting even further while his shots are getting harder and harder.
Btw he us 15th in 3 pt% in the category in players that atempted 300 3s or over

Iv'e been thinking/saying this for awhile. Some guys jumped on me when said he's more valuable than Cov, but he is.
Dario is a keeper, I dont care if hes not a great defender. He is a playmaker and pretty good on the boards.

The way that I am seeing is that Saric is already playing the role of Bosh/green/klove on the offense. His 3 point shot has improved, he rebounds (especially on the offensive rebounds), and he is our 2nd playmaker in the starting lineup. He doesn't have to sacrifice a lot like what bosh and klove has done because it is a perfect role for his skillset.
