He seems to shoot on the way down

But nothing to be worried about. Extremely young kid that haven't played in half a year. He'll be fine, but not this season I guess.

Including last night's game, the Blue Coats have 12 games left, the last of which is March 23rd. 12 games for Zhaire to work on his conditioning and getting used to the speed of the game. In addition, there are nine Sixers games beyond those 12 Blue Coats games, for a total of 21 opportunities to play, although it is unlikely all 12 of the Sixers games would be available to Zhaire since he would be out of the rotation.

What do you think we can expect? I assume he’ll be on a minutes restriction for most but perhaps not all of the Blue Coats games. Justin Patton played two weeks before he lodged a 25 min game, which turned out to be his best performance down there. Zhaire, of course, will have to deal with learning to play as a wing rather than as a Four, which he may struggle with for the rest of this season.

I believe they arent counting on him for anything this year. Could he force his way on the Sixers in April? Possibly I guess...but Brand set the expectations pretty low by basically saying he won’t play for the Sixers this year. I think it would take some special play for him to find his way onto the Sixers.

Yeah some wild comments here! The shot was blocked and he had to double clutch to get it off, hence him shooting on the way down and hence the airball. That shot tells us absolutely nothing about him as a shooter. (Plus many players probably wouldn't have had the ups to get it off at all.)

It wasn't the only shot off the dribble, he airballed the other one as well. Shot is shown at the 2:30 mark in the video below.

The kid was always a huge project, an extremely nontraditional guard. His shot off the dribble was a mess at Texas Tech and with him being out the majority of the year does not magically fix that. He's not going to play for us this year.

Tonight should be Zhaire's first game in front of a home crowd. Anyone going to be there?

Great to see dramatic progress vs the last game. We all gotta give him some time to find his rhythm - being off for that long will take some time ... no amount of practice equates to a real game. Im just looking for improvement and progress everytime he plays.

Finished with 12 in 19 minutes, +11.

Good to see him excelling in the lower level.

Almost looks like a fultz jumper. Starts a little too low than elevates. I guess he can get away with that since he has elite athleticism. But would like to see him get the ball out of his hands quicker.

Highsmith and Milton will probably join team too, as two ways can join team at conclusion of G league season, even if they have used up the allotment of 45 days.

Can we not go there please? The kid just came back and his jumper mechanics look smooth. Give him time for God sake he's only 19.
