Re: The Playoffs Thread
Remember guys, Brooklyn had the 22nd ranked DRTG in the RS. Milwaukee’s offense still didn’t look great. We’ll neutralize a lot of their offense, esp if Green can come back early or on schedule.
The real question is if we can produce enough offense against them. I expect a hell of a series if we make it.

Re: The Playoffs Thread
We have been playing so bad, the Hawks have is in a game 7. However, if we can win without facing a juggernaut, this is the year. We’ll see how the Atl game goes.
Milwaukee isn’t really as deep as I expected. Khris Middleton is really good. And Giannis gets a lot of easy baskets. Jrue had a nice game tonight.
Milwaukee should beat us in five, but if Embiid and Tobias play out of their minds, who knows?

Not sure if serious, guy was terrible outside of 2 or 3 minutes in the fourth. Almost lost the game by himself

We have to beat Atlanta before even talking about Milwaukee.

I just feel like he is coming out of this with some solid momentum. Hit some huge shots in the 4th. He was able to stay with Durant in that last play. I think tonight was a turning point for him.

Jrue has always played well in the playoffs. He was bad in this series, but he hit some big shots at the right time for them. It's hard for me to dislike the Bucks. I lived near Milwaukee for a few years during the Robinson/Vin Baker era. I like them, always have. I'm glad they beat Brooklyn. They'll become the enemy if we can advance.

Yeah, he’s had a tough series, but I think tonight was a good night for him. He got some confidence. He shot the ball pretty bad, but made big shots at the end. I think he is prob in line for a good ECF. I hope if he plays us, he keeps shooting poorly, but he is a good player and bound to find his rhythm.

I dont see how we have a chance against the bucks with Embiid being hampered with injuries. He will not be able to defend giannis like he has in the past. And then if we stick him on Lopez he will not be to contest shots in the paint because Lop

Re: The Playoffs Thread
bro what the hell are you talking about. He was absolutely terrible and they would’ve won by 12 if it wasn’t for him. Even down the stretch he had some big buckets but he also had some equally terrible plays. This is a godawful take.sixers hoops wrote:Murray_17 wrote:sixers hoops wrote:We have been playing so bad, the Hawks have is in a game 7. He shot well at the end of the 4th but came back to being horrible in OT, outside of the final defensive possession and Durant.
He was even missing lay ups....

I wouldn't exactly call any of the teams left small markets. Unless you mean to say teams that don't win many chips and aren't as popular as the Lakers, Celtics, Knicks, Bulls, etc.

Giannis gets easy buckets against poor defenses. Didn't really vs Miami, and wouldn't likely vs Philly.
This is like 2019 all over again after KD went down. The Championship became fully up for grabs and Philly should've had it if Joel didn't disappear offensively vs Toronto.
There isn't a single game that Philly probably wasn't the most impressive team in vs Atlanta for this series, including game 1; because of their stars deficiencies they're likely to blow game 7. When at this point they should be the favorites to win the East and maybe Championship

If Philly get through to the Conference Finals… should they implement hack Giannis? Currently shooting 53% FT this post season. He had a couple air balls from the line today as well.

Karma for Blake Griffin jumping ship thinking he'd hitch a ride with the stars to a title.

Expect Tolliver and Clark to be activated if we face the Bucks. We may play either or both guys over D12.

Listening from Nate Mcmillan’s post game interview, i expect the Hawks to have their bigs step out to challenge Seth on those iverson cut offensive sets.

Sounds crazy but I would. D12 will be less than useless in a Milwaukee series. Really bad matchup for the 76ers in general, but Dwight Howard in particular.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Both guys would play that role Blake and Brown did for the Nets.
Nets have shown that you dont need a center to play against the Nets.
