My 2 cents:
-While not a great team, the Blazers are a more mature team than are our young Sixers. And so we need a lead going into the 4th if we want a chance late.
-Defense has to be rabid. These guys aren't known for their shooting...make 'em even more uncomfortable.
-Despite Camby, we should have the edge in rebounding...IF we see enough Turner and Theo. Need production from Hawes, too. We don't match up so great down low.
-Keep the damn turnovers and fouls DOWN! (see above reference to youth)
It should be close. Would be nice to see us win one down the stretch.

Should be an interesting game.
Jrue vs. Miller
Roy vs. ET(the BRoy Clone, haha right)
I say we keep this one close but lose by 3. My pick for the random player that plays out his mind against us is................. Dante Cunningham, it only makes sense.

Not overall season, but around this point in the season? People are having a nipple attack because of what other rookies are doing. If you played basketball or even know basketball you have to understand that its not his skills as a basketball player, but his confidence and opportunity is what seperates him from the other rookies. I promise you there will be alot of salty posters on RealGM.

Read the second post bro. Again, who was taking BRoys shots when he came in? Evan Turner isn't the man in Philadelphia yet.

Ok i agree that Broy was the man when he came in (even though Randolph was there and averaged over), but thats because he was good enough to be. ET has been given the opportunity to start and play major min but hasn't produced. The opportunity has def been there. As far as confidence that didn't seem to be a problem at OHST.

Actually confidence and fitting in WAS an issue when he started at Ohio St. It's pretty well documented that he took some time to get in the swing, and once he did he took off. I've read numerous places that that's the book on ET. It's way too early to sweat any of this.

I think Wesley Mathews is going to have a big game. He's had some high-scoring games over the past two weeks and is a threat from deep. Although the Sixers have guarded the perimeter quite well this season, there is always one low profile scorer who goes off on us this season (Nick Young, James Jones).
Brandon Roy has put together some good games recently, but the Blazers have dropped three in a row and haven't lost four straight in over two years.
However, we should have some confidence. We've won our last two games at home and a lot of our players have got to feel good with their contributions against NJ (Holiday, Iguodala, Young, Battie, Brand). Not Turner though ...
Interesting stat: Iguodala has averaged 24.5 PPG in the last 8 meetings with the Blazers.
Less-interesting: Portland has won 7 of its last 11 visits to Philadelphia ...

Collins really needs to be called out. Hawes literally does not belong in the league and i'm confident once his contract is up he won't be. How can he start?? And Doug questions why the first unit is always behind?? Wow.

We are shooting lights out and still tied up with Portland. When the shooting cools off we will get blown out tonight.

29-29 at the end of the first quarter. Not bad, defense was shabby though. We are shooting 75% as a team from the field, but like said before, it's bound to go down. Who knows though.
We have to stop the three ball. Holiday has two bombs from deep which has helped, but Portland has a lot of guys who can get hot from three.
10 of our 12 field goals are assisted. Keep that fluid ball movement going and we can keep up with these guys and possibly pull away.
