Unleash what exactly? Think the guy has been holding back and saving himself for some reason?

Turner needs to play in the flow of the game and be what he can become, a pretty good role player. Asking anything more is probably asking way too much unless the Sixers start playing teams in the Big Ten. Forget the number 2 pick stuff, that is a sunk cost. Being a leader and glue guy/stat stuffer is the best he can be, and I would be happy with that.

Will he be happy with it though... He's always been the best at any level he's played at and he had huge expectations when he came to philly. Oh well, we'll have two more years of him to find out, there's no need trying to push him, he's been pushing himself very hard the whole time.

I am hoping he becomes a nice 25 minutes guy that can rebound and play some PG. He has a good set of skills. But he needs to learn how to use them. He isn't a shooter. But i do think he is a stat stuffer type. 4 assists , 6 rebounds and 10 points a game type.

I had a lot of hope for Turner...but now it seems I was wrong. He will just be another NBA player...but no superstar.

im going to hold off until he has played more than 1 foul troubled game... i dont ever expect a superstar but i still think a 15 point 6 rebound 4 assist guy is possible

I had high hopes....but going forward, Dorell Wright might be a more important piece than Turner.

^ I wouldn't got that far mr. Thornton. Turner is going to be a fine player... Just not an all world scoring machine we were hoping for.

I really am disappointed in what Turner will be. I had high hopes for him and woulda bet money on him being the #1 the team needed.

I still think Evan can put up 17, 7 and 7 on a lottery-bound team. On a good team, it looks like he'd gonna have to focus on being a glue guy. His defense is still exceptional. He just has too many brainfarts on offense (getting his shot blocked, turning it over, rushing his decisions).

I really don't think he could do that even on a lotto team. He's just way too inefficient. If his usage rate got jacked up more, his TS% would probably plummet.

Weren't you shouting from the rooftops to trade Iggy to allow him to play? So you wanted to trade Iggy so we could have a worse version of Iggy?

Hey any interest in trading Turner for Tyreke Evans ??? Sacramento could use a facilator with allaround skills and we could you a athletic aggressive slasher???

I doubt we'd be able to pull that off. I consider Tyreke 2 tiers above Evan as a player.

I don't like the Iguodala-Turner comparison. Two completely different players if you ask me. Once Turner finds his comfort, I think he can be more effective than Andre. Not up to Iguodala's ability as a one-on-one defender, but that doesn't matter because the team looks like they've adapted to a team defense that can potentially give superstars some trouble.

It is evident that Evan thinks too much and has confidence issues. However, he possesses a great ability to create his own shot and get to the rim. I think his game can blossom with the subtraction of Iguodala and Williams as well as the addition of Bynum.

I've been an ET booster since before we drafted him. Love the idea of his game as a guy with smooth handles who boards, doesn't need crazy athleticism to get to the hole and be effective and sets up his teammates. I'm starting to run out of patience though. It just doesn't seem to be translating, apart from a few flashes here and there. Might need a change of scene, or maybe he's just not that good. First 20 games are going to be crucial.
