Sixers vs Pacers

Post#1 » by KrazySixersD » Thu Dec 13, 2012 3:03 pm

this is a must win game in my opinion... i think we can all feel things starting to slip...

indiana wont have stephenson, though i think that helps them rather than hurts them.

apparently moultrie has moved ahead of kwame who now doesnt play at all.

Indiana is another team with a tough big formidable frontcourt... and we are probably going to get outrebounded... though we outrebounded chicago and still lost...

our outside shooters have got to start making their spot up open 3's... jrich, nick young, and dorell needs to get some playing time to see if hes on as well.

I got a bad feeling, but we'll see. Thad vs West scares me a lot

we have 5 games before our dreaded murder's row of 8 strait tough away games.

if we can manage to go 3-2 in our next 5 vs the pacers, lakers, dallas, houston, and atlanta... that gives us a 15-12 record... which is on pace for about a 46-36 record.... its just under that percentage wise but just over 45 wins as well.... if we were to go 3-5 on our road trip, we would be 18-17 coming out of that... with a total of 16 home games and 19 away games...

most likely, we win only 2 of those 8... and we are 17-18 coming out of that.... so without bynum, i think we probably end up at the end of the year with about 41 or 42 wins.... which might be good enough for 8th seed, but also might not be...

with bynum, we probably win a few more games, it seems we need to avoid the 7th and 8th seeds at all costs to get away from miami and new york... if bynum comes back we will probably need about 47 wins to get the 6th seed... here's to hoping

Would be nice to see some 3's fall in this game. Gonna be a really tough game no doubt, hoping ET does well versus George.

if jrue isnt playing, we wont win a single game... maybe 1 game here or there where we are just on fire... hes questionable and traveling which makes me think he probably plays through it out of necessity...

basically right now, we be screwed

We might see Evan Turner go for a career high in points.

I'll be shocked if we don't get blown out tonight. Only thing I'm looking forward to is E.T's potential triple-double.

Relax, I get that you like Jrue and you are on a quest to prove to every one that he is a superstar in the making, but without Jrue I still think we beat the pacers.

you are delusional if you expect us to win without bynum, without jrue, and possibly without 2 other guys in ivey and wilkins, albeit they suck, but that just means even fewer active bodies.

thats crazy talk... can it happen? sure... but should it be expected that we win?! LOL ... no

Looking forward to ET vs. Paul George.

Paul is emerging offensively, 24.4 ppg 7.6 rpg 3.8 apg 51 percent from the field over the last 5 games, plus he's been shutting down his opponent.

considering no one on this team can get their own shot aside from jrue and turner... the over under should be set at about 25.5

If ET starts at PG, I expect George Hill to guard him initially.

If he turns on his villain mode, they might then match him up with Paul George, defensively. We might then opt to post up whoever Hill is guarding.

Against the Pacers, rebounding is still the key and post defense against West. With Hibbert struggling and Hill's lack of ability to create, they are struggling on offense.

for those of you sayin turner is or was out of shape.. you look foolish.. this kid is playin a ton of minutes and is now probably going to play almost the entire game again tonight..

jrue has been incredibly durable his career too but it looks like it caught up to him... i hope turner doesnt suffer from that

we might get lucky tonight with turner going crazy, but i also wont be suprrised if we get blown the hell out all these games jrue is out, and hell even when he comes back..

it seems we are hanging together by gum right now
