I like it. Thought he would be cut before the preseason, then was suckered into voting 'Um' about his extension. But if you aren't extending him, go on and cut bait now.
Still, guy gave it his all or a bunch here.
#bewell.

You guys are better off. Sixers come to St. Joe's for training camp and I witnessed his antics first-hand in the athletic center. He made the trainer's lives a living hell every day they took his weight and BMI. He would yell at them when they told him he was overweight and needed to fix his diet and had a terrible attitude towards everyone in the building. I agree he is a massive talent but, I just don't think he'll mature enough to the point of being a positive for any team to have.

This guy could have been a role model and an inspiration for those out there suffering from anxiety disorders.
He could have stopped his whining, fixed his poor attitude, erased that atrocious sense of entitlement and put in the work to improve his game.
When people offer constructive criticism, they do it in your best interests. This dude has too much pride and attitude to accept his flaws and then try to minimize them. It's sickening.
Everyone goes through problems in life and experiences suffering. And that's without collecting a pay check in the millions and then complaining about this and that.
I supported him because he was different. I sympathized with him because I felt he was misunderstood. Now I just feel cheated. He is such a disappointment.

This is a Furkan good move!!
Shows the team really does value character. Hope he gets it together some day, just not here.

I get the fear of flying. But with the chance to be paid millions, grab a pair of Dre beats and some Nyquil & have a good flight. kid couldve been a player if he got over his fear

Wtf, I might be the only one here, but I think this dude has unique talent.. We should have kept him..
I guess they figured they don't need his type of character.. They are better of with Lavoy who doesn't give a **** about basketball and winning..

Face it, He had no intentions to actually play, and wanted to make a career off being sympathized too. If he actually had any intention of playing, why did he sit out all the home games for the Rockets? There is next to no traveling for a home game; most players live near the arena.

If he would have traveled to Europe this may not have been an issue, maybe he would have made the team this season and had a reevaluation next year, however he showed that he could not be relied upon even with everything on the line. I liked the dude as well, I would have actually preferred he made the team, but now that he is cut so be it, should have done everything and anything he could have, he didn't.

Neither one of them give much of a **** about basketball and both have crappy work ethics. The Sixers kept the one who had shown NBA talent and ability to play in the league without off the court headaches. I don't think Lavoy is here once his contract runs out anyway, but if he shows some of his rookie season playoff level ability he could be moved for a 2nd near the deadline.

If I were Royce, I'd request to be given the bear tranquilizer that Dexter would give his victims and given enough to not wake up until I landed at the destination. Too extreme?
