Tough choice between K.J. McDaniels and Adreian Payne. If we don't land Wiggins, I'd take McDaniels because we need a wing defender.

Beween the choices I like Capella (works for a long rebuild) and then maybe Hood.

Both of them are one-way players, though.

Been talked off Capela bandwagon. Went Payne. Big body and nice offense to pair with Noel.

Adreian Payne. Then Cleanthony Early (is he on the list?). Then Jerami Grant.

Draftexpress has him in early 30s, so you have to request he be added.

Went Payne, I think he would be a great fit with Noel, especially if we are talking about the 18th pick in the draft.

I don't know how good Capella is gonna be. His only decent rebounding, only solid shot blocking and poor steal percentage throw up some concerns about his defensive instincts. Someone with his perceived athleticism and measurables should be generating more defensive impact plays.

His impressive PER is intriguing enough to give him a glance, but once you delve deep into him as a prospect, he reveals himself to be a 1-way player that might not even been able to be a standout on that side of the ball that he's supposed to specialize in.

Like mentioned previously, it all depends who the Sixers were to draft prior to this. Either way, here I go with McDaniels. He has the potential to eventually become a lockdown defender -- good value outside the lottery.
