This deal would absolutely suck btw. The Colangelos are going to destroy this franchise. We better get multiple picks back in return unprotected too. But I have a feeling we'd also give the Lakers pick or something dumb.

I wouldn't do this deal because it looks like Jeff Teague has peaked and he only has a year left on his contract. I would need Teague and a 2017 1st.

That would be terrible value for Noel

Been shopping Okafor all over the league. Nobody wants him.

Hmm. I haven't seen a great deal of Teague. I have been in the Okafor for #3 camp and would probably prefer we go that direction, but I could be ok with this.

I really need to lookup Teague's contract situation.

Better be getting something else.

Teague has 1 year left on his deal at $8M (+10% trade kicker if traded to us). Then I'm sure we'll have to pay him AT LEAST $20M/yr after that.

He's obviously a good player and a > 40% 3 point shooter, but he's going to be 28 next season so his age doesn't fit with our core at all.

Indifferent. Teague is a good scoring guard and would pair ok with Simmons. But I wouldn't want to trade Nerlens for him. Who knows. Maybe it would work out if we got some other assets but honestly would rather get Schroeder at this point.

Happy to see they are going to hold onto the better player in Okafor. Nerlens is a small piece and won't fit with Biid just like he didn't fit with Jah. Cya.

That's my initial reaction. Also that he is not a great off the ball player that may fit better with Simmons.
