It will be interesting what Celts will do with IT, if they ended up with Fultz or Ball with the Nets pick.

The Thunder without Westbrook would challenge the Sixers for all-time worst NBA record at 9-73. They are sooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. Oladipo is terrible, what a bust he is. No shooting. They have nothing.

If Sixers are going to beat the warriors, you need to get them play shoot in a slump because of your D. Which can happen with a big positionless line-up that has very good chemistry on D.

OKC is blatantly trying to get RW the MVP

What you guys think of Drummond? I don't want him for the team. I think he is on a quick decline

If they lose this series, it gives them the justification to trade him. IT is going to be All-NBA this year, so that entitles him to the super-max contract. There is no way on earth Ainge is stupid enough to pay a 30 year old, 5'8 SG, 35 million per year. I'm hoping they do keep him, but I don't believe they will whether they draft Fultz/Ball or not.

to be fair I adopted the Wizards as my alternate team while the 76ers were in a rebuild, and the Wizards and Celtics arent the greatest of friends either.

I only like to play devil's advocate. I just got a shower before I have to leave for work and I feel a lot different now.

The Celtics are in a good position, I just feel like the 76ers are in a better position, whether it is evident right now or not.

The Celtics have to decide whether IT, Bradley, and Crowder should be in their long-term plans, that really muddles up their draft strategy this year.

The Sixers have the luxury of having their most needed areas of the team also being a very strong area of the draft.

To my knowledge, there is no cant-miss big man prospect in the upcoming draft.

So if the Celtics draft Fultz or Ball, they are giving up on Smart

if they draft Josh Jackson, they are giving up on Jaylen Brown/Avery Bradley

if the Sixers draft Fultz or Ball, we are relegating TJ McConnell to the bench

if we draft Malik Monk, Nik Stauskas goes to the bench

if we draft Josh Jackson, Nik Stauskas still goes to the bench

you see how that is more streamlined?

and yeah, I am hyping up Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid playing together.

I dont see the Celtics being able to do any moves in the next few years that will be able to rival that 1-2 combination.

Even if Billy King gets another job

what fun would sports be if you didnt dislike the other teams?

Not to take anything away from you, but I don't think those were necessarily hot takes. They were valid arguments then as well.

You aren't going anywhere when your team's best player is a center and yet your team has one of the worst defense on the league. Such as the Nuggets and Wolves.

they've built their team around having an above average defense and Westbrook sapping up enough possessions to keep them afloat on offense. If you just take him off that strategy craters. Their defense is too good to have them be 9-73 bad but they wouldn't be a playoff team.

To be fair, they built their team around having Westbrook and Durant, but Durant took off.

I like how the narrative has changed from OKC having a fantastic supporting cast when Durant was there to being complete garbage now that he left.

Idk was that ever really the narrative?

Ibaka and Waiters leaving didn't really help. Same deal with Reggie Jackson

not sure what exactly OKC is trying to do tbh, I think they honestly thought Durant was coming back

Presti kept taking the long view when he should been pushing all in. Kind of like what Ainge has been doing. The fact that the Thunder never won a title with the amount of talent they had is a travesty.

Adams, Ibaka/Oladipo, and Kanter were supposedly great role players. In all honesty they were being overrated. Its easier to look good playing with Durant.

I never called them great role players.
